Monitoring Israel as the Bible Prophecy unfolds…"For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.” Revelation 19:10
“Important military airport, installations near Damascus reportedly bombed; several Hezbollah fighters killed, sources say.”
Second strike near Damascus in a week. Whatever it is they are targeting they obviously didn’t get it the first time.
“Arab media outlets have reported that the IDF targets inside Syria near the capital city of Damascus early Wednesday morning. The incident has yet to be confirmed by Israeli sources, and the IDF has refused to comment on the report. According to the claims, large explosions were heard around the El-Mezzeh airbase just outside of Damascus. No casualties were reported in the attack. A Syrian state media service report by SANA claimed the attack was made by land-based missile batteries, with no reference to Israeli air units. “At 3:00 a.m. (0100 GMT), the Israeli enemy fired several surface-to-surface missiles from inside occupied territory.”
What is different about this attack is the potential use of land base missiles which would be good news. The presence of Russian anti-air defenses might promote the use of other weapons. Remember too the IAF often conducts strikes by shooting missiles from Lebanese airspace either from planes are using drones. Two possibilities are the Jericho I missile and the Delilah missile.
“A map released Tuesday by the Israel Defense Forces shows the degree to which Hezbollah has embedded itself into the Lebanese civilian population. The map shows hundreds of military emplacements, including weapons depots, rocket launchers, and terror tunnels, that Hezbollah has constructed in preparation for its next war against Israel. Hezbollah’s deliberate positioning of military infrastructure in Lebanese villages, a tactic that the IDF has called a “war crime,” is consistent with the Iran-backed terror organization’s history of exploiting civilians to launch wars against Israel.”
The IDF is just reminding the world that when conflict starts in the north the civilian casualties will be high. The Lebanese people are being used as human shields by Hezbollah.
“Q. What, in your opinion, was the content/nature of the seven thunders in the book of Revelation, that John was forbidden to record. The events of Revelation are quite terrifying. What could possibly be worse, so much so that the nature/content of the seven thunders is kept secret?
A. When John was told not to write down what the seven thunders said we were being told that man would have no advance knowledge of this event. Some speculate that it’s a secret cycle of judgments, but there’s no way of knowing that. It could be an act of mercy, or it could be a move of the Holy Spirit to gather more souls before the door to heaven closes. We simply don’t know nor will we until we witness them from our new home in the heavenlies.”
“Q. Please explain Revelation 12, verse 6. Is this the church during the tribulation period?
A. In Rev. 12 the dragon represents Satan and the woman represents Israel. We know this because verse 5 tells us that the woman gave birth to the Messiah. It was Israel who gave birth to the Lord, not the Church. Rev. 12:6 describes the believing remnant of Israel being protected in the desert during the time of the Great Tribulation. This thought is expanded in verses 13-17. Many believe that the place she’ll be taken is Petra, in modern Jordan.”
“According to a special report released by Israel’s State Comptroller Yosef Shapira, the Israeli Security Cabinet and government have not prepared the home front for a state of emergency. Shapira wrote in the report that almost 50% of the bomb shelters throughout the country are in poor condition and are not prepared to accommodate citizens in the event of a serious missile attack.”
“Civilians in opposition-held parts of the city said the situation is becoming desperate.”
“It is probable that Israel will be quietly lobbying Moscow to take account of Israel’s security needs on the border when contemplating action in the south. The Russians are not hostile to Israel, but will act according to how they perceive their own interests. Their decision as to whether to allow Assad to reconquer the southwest of his country – and by so doing to allow Iran and Hezbollah to reach the border with Israel – will be decisive.”
What will Israel do if it looks like Hezbollah is gaining a foothold in southern Syria?
“Palestinians would sooner burn down the land than coexist with the Jewish state.”
If you are wondering why Israel is not living in peace look no further then the Palestinians.
“Syrian government says Israel attacked two targets on the highway connecting Damascus and Beirut; the IAF aircraft reportedly carried out the attack from Lebanese airspace; IDF will neither confirm nor deny.”
Likely was another weapons convoy. Iran and Hezbollah keep trying after several such attacks which means some convoys are getting through.
“While liberating territory from the Islamic State is vital, the consequences of ceding portions of Iraq and Syria to de facto Iranian control could be just as dire as leaving them in jihadist hands.”
“Senior official gives military’s view of Syrian civil war, and how Israeli jets navigate the dangerously full skies next door.”
“The former head of Britain’s Equalities and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), Trevor Phillips, has admitted he “got almost everything wrong” on Muslim immigration in a damning new report on integration, segregation, and how the followers of Islam are creating “nations within nations” in the West.”
And that is really the core issue. Muslims don’t integrate. This creates a divided society. They enjoy the protection, the infrastructure, the economy and welfare benefits of the host nation but seek to change the host nation to an Islamic one. They want to implement Shariah Law with their own courts and police forces. They infiltrate local politics and somehow Islamic friendly politicians get elected. They introduce changes to local laws and constitutions to transform the host nation into an Islamic nation. This is happening all over the world in nearly every country.
If you oppose or resist it you are met with threats, intimidation, you are shamed as being a racist, a bigot, an Islamophobe or a Nazi sympathizer. Muslims feel the host nation should change…..not them. Most people think Muslims want to integrate but that is not the reality. What you then have is a hostile populace within your borders seeking to change your society from within.
I believe this is what Daniel was referring too in Daniel 2:
“Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. “And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile.“As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.“And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. Dan2:41-44
This describes many European societies today with Arab migrants and Western native populations.
“This week we told you about the skirmishes between the IDF and the Islamic State terrorist group which occurred on Israel’s border with Syria. Writing at Israel Hayom, Professor Eyal Zisser says that this is a reminder of what many already realized – ISIS is knocking at Israel’s door:
The skirmish this week on the southern edge of the Syrian Golan Heights between the Israel Defense Forces and Islamic State terrorists is a reminder for anyone who forgot or ignored the fact that “Islamic State is already here,” on Israel’s northern border, and has been for over two years.
In December 2014, one of the rebel groups fighting Syrian President Bashar Assad’s regime on the Golan Heights, the Yarmouk Martyrs Brigade, swore allegiance to Islamic State. It has since joined forces with several other rebel groups, and in May 2016 it named this united force the Khalid ibn al-Walid Army. This force serves as Islamic State’s southern arm in the border triangle between Israel, Jordan and Syria, in the southern Golan Heights. It controls a swathe of land spanning several hundred kilometers, where tens of thousands of people live.
Like Hezbollah, which maintains a presence in the northern sector of the Golan Heights, Islamic State in the southern sector is preoccupied with more pressing matters than opening a front against Israel. Islamic State fighters are busy battling the Syrian regime, but also other rival rebel groups in the area, some of which have ties with Israel. Thus, Islamic State has preferred to keep a low profile along the border and avoid adding Israel to its ever-growing list of enemies.
For Israel, however, it was always clear that an organization such as Islamic State would eventually exacerbate tensions along the border. After all, if the organization ends its other conflicts with the upper hand, it can turn its attention to Israel; but even if it loses, as is the case these days in northern Iraq and eastern Syria, then it looks to act against Israel in an attempt to win points and boost the waning morale among its supporters…”
With the Syrian civil war winding down it will be interesting to see what approach each group takes towards Israel in the near future. Assad will win Aleppo, it is just a matter of time but he is not strong enough to recapture the country side bordering Israel. The Syrian Army, Hezbollah, and Iran will want to consolidate gains and revive their strength before taking on Israel.
The other day an Iranian general stated that Israel will be destroyed within the next 10 years. I think we should take them at their word. In 10 years Iran will have a nuclear weapon (if they don’t already), they along with their proxies will be fully recuperated from the Syrian war, and unless something changes, there will be no sanctions against them.
Iran is actually in a much better position to go to war with Israel then a year ago. They control Lebanon (through Hezbollah), they control Syria (through Assad’s dependency on them), and they either control or exert considerable influence over Iraq.
The only real foe Iran has to worry about besides Israel is Saudi Arabia and they seem reluctant for a direct confrontation. Currently, the US is really not a player in any of the countries that Iran holds under its control. That may change but we will have to wait and see. For now, Iran has to be feeling very confident.
God is in control. The Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon and war against Israel is on the horizon. Pray for Israel.
“UN Ambassador Danny Danon sent an urgent letter to the Security Council members in which he revealed the smuggling route from Iran’s Revolutionary Guards to Hezbollah.”
Big collective yawn from the UN on this one.
“Segment discussing white supremacist think tank’s anti-Semitic rhetoric sparks controversy.”
CNN trying so hard to link Trump to white supremacist grouped they stepped into it. There are likely people working for CNN who are more antisemitic then Trump is so it is quite ironic.
“BEIRUT – More than 1,000 soldiers deployed by Iran to Syria to back the government side in its civil war have been killed, an Iranian official said, underlining Tehran’s increasing presence on front lines of the conflict.”
Demonstrates just how important Syria is to Iran. The death toll is likely higher then what they are admitting too.
Islamic hate for Christians was on display throughout the month of August. Shortly after an 80-year-old Catholic priest in France was slaughtered by Muslims who stormed his church during mass, the 16-year-old Muslim son of an Islamic cleric living in Belgium made a video and posted it on social media. In the video, he appears walking along the main street of the Belgian city of Verviers during Ramadan while making prayers to Allah, which include: “Allah, kill the despicable Christians. Allah, kill each and every last one of them.
I do not wish to add a to a climate of fear here but the mainstream media simply won’t touch this story. And Westerners need to be aware and on their guard when attending their places of worship. The scope of Islamic hate is truly daunting and horrifying. This is why Islam must be resisted.
Do not be afraid.
The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? Psa 118:6
