Articles of the Day 1/24/14: God has not forsaken Israel
“Israel, the tiny nation that defied history in coming back to life after 2,000 years of exile, is among the top 10 most powerful nations in the world according to a recent research study.”
Totally God’s work here. God has not forsaken Israel. God will use Israel in the last days and he is prepping her to be ready.
“The war in Syria has inflamed sectarian tensions in Lebanon, with Hezbollah backing Al Assad’s regime and many Sunnis supporting the rebellion against him.”
God has pitted the Sunni Muslim against the Shiite Muslim. Israel’s enemies are fighting each other while Israel grows stronger, wakes from her slumber, and becomes are world super power. Amazing after 2000 years this tiny country can beat all odds and become such a powerful nation.
“As part of its lessons from Operation Pillar of Defense, during which the IAF destroyed the majority of Fajr rocket launchers and the semi-submerged launch pits from which they were fired, Hamas decided to hide their launchers next to sensitive facilities that could serve Hamas in its public relations battle with Israel, creating a guise according to which Israel is attacking civilian infrastructure.
In addition, Hamas is hiding its rockets under multiple-story buildings and inside of them, sharing the space with its military wing. The group has set up cameras on the top of minarets and water towers in a bid to gather intelligence and also put Israel in a bind: Should Israel destroy a mosque, the image would probably make newspapers around the world.”
All the asymmetric tactics in the world will not save Hamas from the Lords wrath. Through the IDF Hamas will be dealt with harshly because instead of taking care of their own people they have chosen war with Israel. In good faith, Israel withdrew from Gaza only to be rewarded with rockets and missiles raining down on her innocent civilians. God will judge them and those who support them.
Q. So many prophecy teachers say we are in the end times, and the rapture is near. Do they imply that we could be raptured this year or in the next 3-5 years? I understand no one knows the day or hour but I would like your thoughts.
A. Many teachers of prophecy believe we’re in the end times because Israel has become a nation again, something that had to happen before the end of the age. Generally speaking, when teachers say the rapture is near, they mean nothing of a prophetic nature has to precede it. That doesn’t mean no other end times prophecies can precede the rapture, it means no other end times prophecies have to precede the rapture. Although we not privileged to know exactly when it will happen we are expected to understand that it could happen at any moment.
Speaking of the End Times events, of which the re-birth of Israel was the first, Jesus said, “When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near” (Luke 21:28). If He could say these things about the 2nd Coming (Luke 21:27), it’s even more meaningful for the church, because the rapture has to precede the Second Coming by at least 7 years.
Many churches do not teach the concept of the Rapture so I am glad to see Jack Kelly is not afraid to teach on the subject.
“The Bible states that King David captured the Jebusite stronghold of Jerusalem in 1048 BC. This is the time when David made Jerusalem the political capital of the Jewish people, II Samuel 5. Several years later, King David made Jerusalem the spiritual capital of the Jewish people when he brought the Ark of the Covenant into the city. In 1012 BC, Solomon, David’s son, built a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount referred to as Mt. Moriah in II Chronicles 3:1. Mt. Moriah is that sacred spot where Abraham offered his son Isaac as a sacrifice unto the Lord, Genesis 22 in 1872 BC. This history lesson proves that the Temple Mount belongs to the Jews and has belonged to them for almost 4000 years. In addition to that, Bible prophecy says the Temple Mount will be where the Lord will dwell among the Jewish people, His people forever, Psalm 132:13-14.”
Muslims like to rewrite history because they know it is not in their favor.
