Articles of the Day 2/17/14: Fearing the bark of the PA
“In addressing the issue of the Temple Mount, Bennett reportedly said, “Unfortunately, the Temple Mount today doesn’t allow for the full exercise of freedom of religion, and there is discrimination against Jews there. But we have to be very careful when dealing with the Temple Mount because of the huge sensitivity of the site.”
Wow, even Bennett is afraid to tackle this issue.
“PM calls for Islamic Republic to be stripped of all centrifuges; brands boycott organizers as ‘classical anti-Semites’”
Words of instruction from Jack Kelly:
“Q. I just listened to your MP3 series on Revelation chapter 7-9. In part 4 you talk about the Tribulation Martyrs serving Jesus in the temple etc, but they would not receive the reward that the Church does, which is to be co-heirs with Christ. I had never seen this before while reading Revelation until you mentioned it. Can you explain why you think this is so? So basically what your saying is that as soon as the Rapture happens anyone who believes after that point is not really part of the Church but is classified in another group. (Kind of like Israel is a separate group.) Can you go further into this?
A. The earliest date for the birth of the Church is on Pentecost, 50 days after the Resurrection, and it will disappear in the rapture. Therefore, just as Old Testament believers aren’t part of the Church, neither are Tribulation believers. And a careful reading of Rev. 7:9-17 shows that the destiny of these believers is much different from the Church.
They’re specifically described as serving God in His Temple, and yet they are never called priests. This is a role never ascribed to the Church. In fact there is no Temple in the New Jerusalem, home of the church (Rev. 21:22). Also there’s no mention of the saints in Rev. 7 ever ruling and reigning with Christ as is the Church’s destiny.
Ephesians 2:14-17 clearly portrays the Church as an entirely new and unique race of human, different from any other, with a future designed to show just how far God can go in lavishing His grace upon us (Ephes. 2:6-7). In my opinion, we don’t hear anywhere near enough on this subject from the pulpit.
During the Church Age, God asks people to believe solely by faith (John 6:28-29), and promises blessings beyond those of any other group to those who do. But once Daniel’s 70th week begins, God’s supernatural power will once again be on display for all to see. During that time belief in Him will be as much by evidence as by faith, like it was in the Old Testament. Believing in what you see is not as commendable to God as is believing what you don’t see, hence the different destiny of Tribulation believers from that of the Church.”
“Saeb Erekat warns that Palestinians will take Israel to ‘international tribunal and join calls for economic sanctions’ should Kerry’s talks fail, but warns worst result would be ‘collapse of Palestinian Authority’ which would force Netanyahu to take control of West Bank.”
More threats, sky is falling incitement from the PA. Let the PA collapse I say. If Netanyahu wants to take over the West Bank then all the better. It is Israeli land anyway. Let them sue. The UN hates Israel already anyway. Israel can tell them to pound sand. The PA has no real power or leverage. Their propaganda makes people think they do have power. The International Left, Israeli Left, Obama, and the EU fall for this every time. They fear the PA. There is nothing to fear. For sixty years the Palestinians have not been able to take anything from Israel except that which Israel has given them. Israel needs to learn to stop giving their country away.
“Israel accepts medical patients from Gaza for treatment on a regular basis, often as many as 70 patients per day.
But even the most seasoned Israeli doctors were surprised earlier this month when two separate, rare high-risk pregnancy cases were admitted to the same hospital, just days apart.”
Yet rockets fly and boycotts are demanded against Israel. The hypocrisy of the world is astounding.
“A new animated film posted on Iranian websites in recent days graphically portrays an Iranian counterattack against a theoretical joint Israeli-American strike on the Islamic Republic’s military facilities, culminating in the destruction of the Jewish state.”
Don’t worry though the Iranians just want a nuclear program for peaceful purposes.
“There is an attempt to vacate Judea and Samaria of Jews and build an Arab-Muslim state in the heart of Israel, literally ten minutes from here,” Bennett said. “Copy and paste what happened in Gaza, Lebanon and even Judea and Samaria,” he urged. “Ten years ago we vacated cities in the West Bank and they killed 1,000 Israelis, many of them here in Jerusalem.”
The West Bank (governed by the PA) is already a terrorist state they just don’t use rockets….yet.
“If the Palestinians take Israel to the International Criminal Court, it will fundamentally alter the relationship with Jerusalem and likely “suck the air” out of the diplomatic process, the Foreign Ministry’s deputy legal adviser said Monday.”
The only way this is a problem if Israel accepts what the court decides which will be biased in any case.
“One of the dangers of the Palestinians seeking admission to the ICC, he said, was that terrorists would attempt to draw IDF soldiers into “impossible” situations where they would have no choice but to take actions that could be criticized internationally.”
Isn’t this already happening? Why worry about what the Palestinians or the ICC will do in the future, this is already taking place.
