Articles of the Day 4/2/14: Getting Played
“Less than a week before torpedoing the peace talks on Tuesday, by breaching talk conditions in a unilateral request to join international institutions, Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas stated that war better serves his interests, but is not practical at this time.”
Spoken like a true peace partner….or Hitler.
“The vast majority of Arabs in Judea, Samaria and Gaza support a boycott of joint activities with Israelis, according to a recent public opinion survey conducted by the Arab World for Research and Development (AWRAD).”
Exactly the opposite of what would be best for them. Israel is a gift from God to them that they have rejected. The lives of all Arab people in the Middle East could be vastly improved if they simply accepted Israel. They have condemned themselves to misery and suffering. Israel has a thriving, growing economy. The Arabs do not. Economic cooperation with Israel could greatly benefit them. Their meager resources should be put back into their own countries but instead they waste it in futile attempts to attack Israel.
These stages fit the Palestinians, indeed, many Arabs like a glove:
Stage 1: The Haters Gather
Stage 2: The Hate Group Defines Itself
Stage 3: The Hate Group Disparages the Target
Stage 4: The Hate Group Taunts the Target
Stage 5: The Hate Group Attacks the Target Without Weapons
Stage 6: The Hate Group Attacks the Target with Weapons
Stage 7: The Hate Group Destroys the Target
“Hate masks personal insecurities. Not all insecure people are haters, but all haters are insecure people. Hate elevates the hater above the hated. Haters cannot stop hating without exposing their personal insecurities. Haters can only stop hating when they face their insecurities.”
Only God can make them face their insecurities.
“A senior source in the Palestinian Authority (PA) claimed on Wednesday that the organization wanted US Secretary of State to continue the peace talks, despite PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’s breach of talk conditions Tuesday by requesting to join 15 international UN institutions.”
The Palestinians have played the US and Israel. They have gotten several dozens of terrorists released for nothing and will likely receive recognition from the UN anyway. There going to have their cake and eat it too. The US has been surprisingly naive and Israeli government has, frankly, been negligent during the whole process. Total failure by both governments.
“RAMALLAH, West Bank (AP) — In a surprise move that could derail U.S. peace efforts, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday resumed a campaign for further international recognition of a state of Palestine, despite a previous promise to suspend such efforts during nine months of negotiations with Israel.”
Proves that the talks were really just about the prisoner release all along. As soon as Israel realized this and stopped the release the PA wasted no time heading to the UN, which is what they planned to do all along. The Palestinians will succeed (and may have already succeeded) in turning the whole world against Israel. However, God is on Israel’s side.
“If they are now threatening [to go to UN institutions], they must know something simple: They will pay a heavy price,” Tourism Minister Uzi Landau told Israel Radio. “One of the possible measures will be Israel applying sovereignty over areas that will clearly be part of the State of Israel in any future solution.” Israel could also hurt the Palestinians economically by acting “to block financial aid to them,” the minister added.”
“The Palestinians are removing their mask to reveal their true face… that the last thing that interests them is a diplomatic solution,” he said.
“The only thing that interests them is dancing in the streets with heinous murderers,” he added, referring to demands that Israel release Palestinian prisoners, some of whom were convicted of murdering Israelis.
“I think they are satisfied that we have the capability to use a military option if the Iranians choose to stray off the diplomatic path,” Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said of Israeli officials. “I think they are satisfied we have the capability. I think they believe we will use it.”
I think Israel and the US have both resigned themselves to a nuclear Iran. Publicly they are saying the opposite but the truth in their actions speaks loudly. There is just simply no will for using force against Iran by the US or Israel. Iran with a nuclear weapon counters Israeli nukes and makes convectional warfare that much more possible against Israel. The coming wars in the Middle East are on the horizon.
Some rather timely wisdom from Jack Kelly…..
Q. After the battle of Ezekiel 38 with the downfall of Russia, what Moslem nations fall with Russia ? Assuming Damascus has already been destroyed, who do you think are the Power Nations left to battle Israel ? Or as Ezekiel 38 ushers in the 7 year Tribulation period, are there no more major wars until the battle of Armageddon ? Without major wars involving Israel, are the remaining events of the end times only related to God’s judgments of Wrath upon mankind ? Thank you for your site and your wise insight to coming events !
A. Most scholars see Iran, Turkey, and parts of Eastern Europe and Northern Africa being aligned with Russia in the Battle of Ezekiel 38. Their armies will be defeated. According to population studies, these countries only comprise about 15% of the world’s Islamic population. I believe Syria, Lebanon, Hizbollah and Hamas will have been previously defeated. As for the surviving nations, according to Zechariah 14:2 all the remaining nations of the world will eventually be mobilized against Jerusalem.
The entire 70th week of Daniel will be characterized by warfare. Beginning with the 2nd Seal judgment (Rev. 6:4) peace will be taken from the Earth and won’t return till the 2nd Coming. Europe, Africa, and Asia, as well as the Middle East, will all be involved in the struggle for control of Planet Earth. Between the wars and the judgments, it’s estimated that up to half the world’s population will die during those 7 years.
“Raphael Delarosa, a Jerusalem resident and father of well-known journalist Emily Amrousi, was attacked Tuesday while driving his car in the French Hill neighborhood of the capital. The attackers, from the Arab neighborhood of Issawiya, threw stones and bricks at his car, shattering the rear windshield.”
But Arabs are so peace loving.
“JNS.org – A Jewish man who tried to ascend the Temple Mount on Tuesday was beaten by an Islamic Waqf official. “The police are afraid, and do not allow the entry of more than 20 to 30 Jews at once,” said activist Yehuda Glick, who witnessed the incident, Israel National News reported.”
“The State Dept. has systematically covered up the truth that the Palestinian Authority teaches incitement against Israel.”
“Less than two weeks ago, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Sham, or ISIS, held a military parade in Fallujah and another parade in Abu Ghraib, a city in Anbar province that is just two miles from the capital of Baghdad.”
“Anbar is not the only front in Iraq on which Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI), now operating as the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS), is fighting in 2014. ISIS has also established a governorate in Diyala. Its spokesman has named the province the central front in the sectarian conflict he has urged. The security situation and sectarian tension in Diyala province are grave. ISIS has returned to fixed fighting positions within Muqdadiyah, Baqubah, and the Diyala River Valley. Shi’a militias are now active in these areas as well. Increasing instances of population displacement demonstrate the aggregate effect of targeted violence by both groups. It is important to estimate the effects of this displacement and the presence of armed groups within Diyala’s major cities in order to understand how deteriorated security conditions in this province will interfere with Iraq’s upcoming parliamentary elections. Furthermore, violence in Diyala has historically both driven and reflected inter-ethnic and inter-sectarian violence in other mixed areas of Iraq, including Baghdad. Diyala is therefore a significant bellwether for how quickly these types of violence will spread to other provinces.”
“This is a system for a shorter range than Iron Dome, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. CEO Yedidia Yaari told “Israel Defense”, describing the laser Iron Beam mortar bomb defense system. “The laser is designed to intercept simpler munitions, such as mortars, and it will be very effective.”
