Articles of the Day 8/7/14: The Tactics Of Evil

Israel-Hamas Conflict 2014

Hamas Threatens to Renew Gaza War

“Hamas is threatening not to renew the current ceasefire and to resume attacks on the Jewish state after both Israel and Egypt rejected many of the terror group’s demands during truce talks in Cairo.”

‘Hand of God sent missile into sea’

“More claims of divine intervention are being reported in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, with an operator of Israel’s Iron Dome missile-defense system saying he personally witnessed “the hand of God” diverting an incoming rocket out of harm’s way.”

PRAYER:  Heavenly father, thank you for protecting Israeli civilians from attacks by Palestinian terrorists. Amen.

Op-Ed: UNRWA: United Neo-Nazis for Rockets, War and Abductions

“But UNRWA hasn’t stopped there. UNRWA’s schools’ curriculae and texts inculcated Palestinians with virulent hate and the belief they will all return to al Quds, Jaffa and Haifa over the dead bodies of the Israelis, but UNRWA humanitarian schools and hospitals actually stored Hamas’ rockets, and served as nodes for Hamas terror tunnels. On top of that, UNRWA is now acting as Hamas’ “UNRWA Dome” to hide rockets and to shield Hamas military assets from Israeli attack. To add even more kafkaesque relief to the United Nations’ UNRWA sheltering of Hamas’ rockets and tunnel shafts, Commissioner of the UNHCR Pillay has condemned Israel and the United States for not providing the Hamas terrorists with the Israeli-invented anti-rocket Iron Dome technology so Hamas can protect Palestinian civilians who are, in turn, protecting the Hamas terror rockets and tunnels.”

Hamas spokesman in Gaza demonstration: ‘War is not over’

“Hamas spokesman Mushir al-Masri said Thursday at a rally in support of the organization in Gaza: “The war is not over. We are emphasizing that the Palestinian people’s demands are legitimate, and call on Egypt, the Arab countries and the international community to adopt them.”

PRAYER:  Heavenly father, please uphold courage of the Israeli leaders, that they may not give into terrorist demands. To be strong in the face of evil and have the will to do what is necessary to protect the Israeli people. Amen.

Leiberman to Kerry: “Hamas is blackmailing Israel”

“Leiberman spoke with Kerry and expressed his rage regarding the Hamas threats saying it will not extend the ceasefire and renew the shooting.”

Netanyahu: Hamas is engaging in child sacrifice

“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at a press conference that “Hamas is engaging in child sacrifice, for the sake of all our children Hamas must not be allowed to get away with this”.”

Sounds extreme but it is true. 160 children died working in Hamas terror tunnels. These tunnels were intended to be used to attack Israeli  kindergartens. Again, ‘Human’ (Hamas) Rights groups silent on this.

Report: Israel to Lift Blockade, Travel Restrictions on Gaza

“Egyptian sources insist Israel acquiescing to Hamas’s unprecedented demands as rumors swirl over ceasefire talks.”

If true, big mistake, more demands to follow.

Bennett: IDF Ready to Strike Back Immediately

“Economics Minister stands behind Netanyahu against Hamas ‘blackmail’ in the event ceasefire breaks down.”

The Gaza Bishop reveals: “Hamas has fired out of my church”

“The Gaza Bishop decided to host Muslim refugees in his church during the war.”

The tactics of evil. God is watching, Hamas will be toppled.

Hamas’ ‘Civilian Casualties’: A Game of Numbers

“A staggering amount of so-called “civilian casualties” in Gaza were probably Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists, the New York Times admits for the first time this week, challenging the routine acceptance of casualty figures provided by the Hamas-run health ministry.”

‘World Leaders Need to Actually Read Geneva Conventions’

“The international community needs to actually read the Geneva Conventions,” the expert said, noting that the Fourth Geneva Convention “makes clear that the moment a protected facility is used for a military purpose, it loses its protected status.”

The relevant portion of the Fourth Geneva Convention is Article 28, which specifically states that “the presence of a protected person may not be used to render certain points or areas immune from military operations.”

In other words, Hamas’ use of human shields is the true violation of international law, whereas Israel was fully within its legal rights to continue responding militarily even when the terrorists used UN facilities as cover.”

Injured Gazans Being Treated in Israeli Hospitals

“Doctors and aid agencies use ceasefire to transport most seriously-injured Gazans to hospitals in Jerusalem, Nazareth.”

UN Chief: This is the Last Time We’ll Rebuild Gaza

“Ban Ki-moon says the UN is ready to help rebuild Gaza but it would be “the last time”.”

I would prefer the UN did not get involved at all since they allow terrorists to store weapons in their facilities.

Sunni-Shiite Civil War

Pope urges protection for Iraqi Christians

“Pope Francis is calling for world governments to take measures to protect Christians driven from their villages in northern Iraq and provide them with humanitarian aid. The pope’s second appeal in as many weeks came Thursday as Iraqi militants from the Islamic State group overran a cluster of predominantly Christian villages alongside the country’s semi-autonomous Kurdish region, sending tens of thousands of civilians and Kurdish fighters fleeing.”

It is great the Pope is finally saying something, however, it is important to note that Christians have been persecuted for years in the Middle East and Africa and the Vatican said nothing.

Christians: ‘We Are Dying, and World is Too Busy With Gaza to Care’

“As the orgy of condemnation against Israel in the wake of the Gaza war continues, Christians in Iraq are doing their best to be heard above the din while they still have a voice.”

The world is more concerned about Palestinian suffering (they invited on themselves) then innocent Christian suffering . ISIS gets a free pass. Where is the UN? Where is HRW? Amnesty International?

Jihadist offensive in Iraq sparks mass Christian exodus

“Tens of thousands said to be fleeing for their lives as Islamic State fighters sweep across Kurdish area.”

PRAYER:  Heavenly father, please protect and comfort Christians in Iraq who are being persecuted by Muslims. Please change the hearts of world leaders who sit idly by and do nothing. Amen.

Iraqi militants seize several Christian villages

“Clergymen in northwestern Iraq say militants with the Islamic State group have overrun a cluster of Christian villages alongside the country’s semi-autonomous Kurdish region, sending civilians and Kurdish fighters fleeing from the area. Bishop Joseph Tomas says the village of Qaraqoush and at least four other predominantly Christian hamlets were in the hands of the Islamic State on Thursday.”

Who Cares About an Impending Genocide in Iraq?

“Amid deafening international silence, tens of thousands of Yazidis are dying at the hands of the ‘Islamic State’.”

Iraq Situation Report: August 6, 2014

Chaldean Christian leader: ISIS ‘Systematically Beheading’ Children in Iraq

“A prominent Christian leader of the Chaldean community unveiled the “systematic beheading of children” and other horrendous crimes committed by ISIS. He said that the Sunni extremists are committing genocide against Christians in Iraq and with the aim to instill the Sharia Law as the law of the land.”

PRAYER:  Heavenly father, please put an end to these atrocities. The world will not do it. Please help spare children especially. Lord Jesus please come quickly! Amen.

What is the purpose of Bible prophecy?

“In this “The Truth Will Set You Free” episode, we discuss the amazing events surrounding the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The first half of the discussion is in English, while the second half is translated into Spanish.”

Rapture Hostility

“Q. Any idea why the doctrine of the rapture causes such hostility in Christians? I believe in the pre Trib rapture because as you so eloquently point out, the Bible supports it. But if someone believes otherwise, so be it. Our salvation isn’t based on our rapture or any doctrinal beliefs other than total faith in Jesus to stand in for us. Why is the rapture so upsetting? Some Christians seem moved to threats and I really don’t get it at all. Why all the hate mail about something designed to give us comfort?

A. I’ve noticed the same thing and like you I’ve have wondered about it. I don’t remember ever seeing a pre-trib believer “go off” on a post trib believer the way some of them do on us. There’s a principle in human behavior that the less certain we are about a position or belief we hold the more quickly we’ll become emotional in trying to defend it. Maybe that’s what causes the hostility. I think the real motivation behind the post-trib view is the belief that the Church needs to be purified in the fires of judgment before being taken to heaven. Pre-trib believers are convinced that all that happened at the cross and no further purification is necessary. We’re a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17) having been given a righteousness from God (Romans 3:21-24) made perfect forever in His sight (Hebrews 10:12-14).”
