Articles of the Day 11/12/14: Terrorism Is Big Business
“Large IDF and police forces are fanning out in the large cities to head off a mega-attack, Shin Bet also trying to prevent it.”
“Palestinian killed by IDF troops as clashes erupt in multiple locations across West Bank; reeling from attacks, Israel bolsters police numbers in cities and takes Golani troops out of training for deployment in West Bank.”
“The deployment is part of routine preparations according to IDF Spokesman’s Unit.”
I doubt this highly. Hostilities with Hamas again could break out at any moment.
“Forbes study shows Hamas only second to ISIS for terror income – and that most of the money is from foreign aid and NGOs.”
Terrorism is big business. For Hamas, it is not about the plight of the Palestinian people. It is about greed, power and influence. The Palestinian people are as exploited as anyone. They are blind to it and they actually believe Israel is the enemy when in reality it is their own government. Interesting the Palestinian Authority is not included on the list. I would like to see where they rank.
“Not a single Palestinian Authority official has denounced the wave of terror attacks on Israel. They, too, are afraid of being condemned by their people for denouncing “heroic operations” such as ramming a car into a three-month old infant. Kerry and other Western leaders do not want to understand that Abbas is not authorized to make any concessions for peace with Israel. For Abbas, it is more convenient to be criticized by the U.S. and Israel than to be denounced by his own people. Ignoring these facts, Kerry tried to pressure Abbas into making concessions that would have turned the Palestinian Authority president into a “traitor” in the eyes of his people. Abbas knows that the people he has radicalized would turn against him if he dared to speak out against the killing of Jews.”
Isn’t that the real issue? It is not Israel, it is not settlements. It is the heart of the Palestinian people. They have been brainwashed over the years and their hatred for Israel has always prevented peace from happening. How do you come to peace with a people that do not want it?
“Palestinian anthem of hate encourages more terror: ‘Wait for them at the intersection, Let the settler drown in red blood.'”
“The UN’s Human Rights Council and Ban Ki-moon have launched probes into this summer’s war. But the UN agency in charge of Gazan refugees is in no rush to follow suit, despite numerous promises.”
Meanwhile probes by the UN into Israel’s conduct during the war run full steam ahead. Such hypocrites!
“Draft urges government to use recognition as ‘instrument to gain a definitive resolution of the conflict.’”
Western countries mistakenly believe that Israel does not want peace and that they just need to be forced into it. All this really does is condemn these countires in the sight of the Lord.
“On Thursday October 30, 2014, Sweden became the 135th of 193 members of the United Nations (U.N.) to officially recognize Palestine as an independent state, raising the percentage of U.N. Member State recognition to nearly 70 percent.”
“High support for Temple Mount prayer rights, poll reveals, but optimism is low that an equal prayer arrangement will be made.”
The fact the Temple Mount has become such a big issue lately is further proof Bible Prophecy is true and happening before our eyes each day.
“It’s an acquired skill, but Israeli trauma physicians treating the new wave of Palestinian terrorists somehow manage to leave their emotions at the door.”
“PM says terrorists ‘trying to uproot us from the country,’ while Abbas ‘stirs tension’, urges Israeli Arabs not to join in the violence.”
“Syrian NGO says 16 jihadi fighters were killed in the push.”
“Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said that the Syrian missile manufacturing plants have been transferred from Iran.”
“The stakes are high, and both sides know it. As previously stalemated fronts see intense and frenzied pushes — mainly by regime forces — the momentum seems to be on the regime’s side, with the imminent siege and fall of Aleppo city, and advances into the rebel stronghold of Ghouta in Damascus. But one area where the rebels seem to be gaining the upper hand is the south, namely in Daraa province and the border region with the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. Recent advances have seen rebel factions, including the al-Qaeda affiliate Jabhat al-Nusra, capture key strategic towns like Nawa.”
“Five Syrian nuclear scientists have reportedly been killed by unknown assailants while riding a bus north of Damascus, near the research center where they worked, the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports.”
“Israeli officials say Operation Protective Edge and other IDF measures using the Iron Dome defensive anti-missile system are only practice for the next conflict with Hezbollah in Lebanon, according to Defense News.”
“Ayatollah Khamenei says West Bank should be armed like Gaza, and Jewish population should return to countries it came from.”
Not surprised. As the world is on the verge of giving this guy nukes he pretty much calls for another holocaust of the Jewish people. What does surprise me is the lack of condemnation around the world. I should not be surprised though.
“Q. When was the book of Daniel written down? Was it written by Daniel or someone else? You said that chapter 11 was the most heavily verified chapter in the Bible. Can you explain to me how it was verified?
A. Because of its astonishing record of fulfilled prophecies (over 100 in chapter 11 alone) the Book of Daniel has been subject to much critical review. But claims that it was written by others long after the fact are only promoted by those who insist that predictive prophecy is impossible, even for God. Daniel mentioned himself several times in the book, Jesus attributed the book to Daniel (Matt. 24:15) and both the Hebrew and Aramaic language structures of the book support the traditional completion date of about 530BC. We know this because authenticated Dead Sea Scrolls from the 2nd Century BC (when late daters claim Daniel was written) show that a number of the word forms Daniel used were already long obsolete by then. For a more detailed account of the effort to discredit Daniel’s authorship and the Biblical and historical rebuttals read “Daniel in the Critic’s Den” by Sir Robert Anderson.”
“Q. I am interested in the chronology of the events in Revelation. We know the abomination of desolation occurs at the mid point of the tribulation. When do the two prophets start their ministry?
A. The two witnesses are first introduced in Rev. 11:3, two chapters before the beginning of the Great Tribulation on Earth. This tells us that their ministry will begin in the lull between the 6th and 7th trumpets and will end prior to the end of the Great Tribulation. This explains why the world will have time to celebrate their deaths at the hand of the anti-Christ. Also notice that in Rev. 11:7 through Rev. 11:14 John skipped ahead to describe the end of their 1260 day ministry. At Rev. 11:15 he went back to where he left off at Rev. 11:6.”
