Articles of the Day 11/25/14: No amount of dividing up Israeli lands will satisfy Satan
Repent! The time of the Lord is close at hand. Open your heart to Jesus Christ. He is knocking at your door. Let him in and take up your cause before the Lord. Jesus Christ died for your sins, he was killed for them, he rose again and he will return again. Read Matthew 24:4-14 and ask yourself are these things taking place now?
“The picture painted by the mainstream international media and loud-mouthed anti-Israel advocates is always the same: Israel is a racist and oppressive place to live for Arabs. This, so the argument goes, is particularly true following this week’s government approval of the controversial “Jewish State” law.
But, if Israel’s such a bad place for non-Jews to live, then why does an overwhelming majority local Arabs prefer life under the rule of the Israeli government, as opposed to the Palestinian Authority?”
“Ban Ki-moon calls on Israel and PA to resume peace talks, predicts the “momentum” of countries recognizing “Palestine” will grow.”
European countries think that if they put enough pressure on Israel that peace will suddenly materialize. They mistakenly believe Israel is the problem. Their own antisemitism has blinded them to who the real aggressor is in this conflict. Pressure needs to be put on the Palestinians not Israel. It would take alot of pressure to change the heart of the Palestinian people. I believe only God can change their path at this point. Israel is the victim here. For no amount of dividing up Israeli lands will satisfy Satan.
“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” (9:29)” This is not a Bible verse, this is from the Quran. As quoted from the article.
“According to a report in British daily The Telegraph, Islamic State has relaxed its “vetting” procedures for foreigners wishing to join the group as it looks to swell its numbers and expand its “Caliphate.” Quoting defectors and safe house operatives, The Telegraph reported that the group was being less stringent with its measures to ensure that foreign jihadists were not undercover spies for the West.”
This is good for two reasons, first it could mean they are feeling the impact of the air strikes and are losing personnel at a high rate degrading their operations. Second, this could make it easier to infiltrate the group and get better intelligence on their operations and perhaps be able to accurately target ISIS leadership.
“US President Barack Obama’s National Security Advisor asked the President to present a new strategy for the war against IS, after reaching the understanding that the current method has failed. According to the reports, the only way in order to defeat Islamic State is to overthrow Assad as well and that it is not possible to operate against the terror group in both Iraq and Syria separately.”
There is no evidence the goal of the new Syria strategy from the Obama administration will be to remove Assad. The person at this blog is reading quite a bit into one resignation.
“Today is the deadline to end nuclear negotiations with Iran. Not surprisingly, the international community and Iran have not struck a deal. good, bad or otherwise. Now, another seven months has been added to the discussions. Also not surprising.
Now we face several very serious questions.
Is there any hope of ever concluding a solid, useful deal — or is Iran just running the clock?
Will the lack of a deal cause the U.S., Israel, or any country to take preemptive military action against Iran’s nuclear facilities?”
“In this “The Truth Will Set You Free” episode, we’ll look at the second end times signs of wars found in Matthew 24:6-7.”
“Q. If during the millennium the Church dwells in the heavenly Jerusalem, and tribulation survivors live in natural bodies on the restored earth, where do the martyred tribulation saints belong? Will their resurrected bodies be like those of the Church? Do they belong with Israel, or with the Church or some other group? In other words. how will they fit into the millennium, what is their purpose in God’s plan?
A. As far as we know all resurrection bodies will be alike in their general characteristics; physical but immortal, with no sin nature.
Three groups of tribulation martyrs are mentioned in the Book of Revelation. The group in Rev. 6:9-11 is only told to be patient until the rest of the martyrs have been killed. Nothing more is said about them. The group in Rev. 7:9-17 will serve God day and night in His temple but are not called priests. God has a Temple in Heaven and will have one in Israel during the Millennium. We’re not told if it’s one or the other or both, but we are told that there will not be a Temple in the New Jerusalem (Rev. 21:22). The group of martyrs mentioned in Rev. 20:4 will reign with Christ for 1,000 years but are never called Kings. Again we’re not given any specifics about their reign, but I believe is will be on Earth in some role subordinate to the Church. None of these groups belong to the Church. I believe Jewish martyrs will live in Israel, but the Bible doesn’t say where Gentile martyrs will live. Perhaps it will be in the nations they’ll help rule.”
“Q. Re: Matthew 24:30-31 Jesus is coming in the clouds, all see him and then the angels gather the elect from the four winds. Are these the saved Jews from the nations? And are they being all summoned to Jerusalem?
A. The rest of Matt. 24:31 says, “from one end of the heavens to the other.” Daniel 12:1-2 tells us that the faithful from Old Testament times will be resurrected at the time of the 2nd Coming. Since I believe Matt. 24 was written primarily about Jewish believers at the end of the age, it seems like Matt. 24:31 refers to the spirits of Jewish people who died in faith of a coming redeemer returning with the Lord to receive their resurrection bodies.
The parallel verse in Mark 13:27 says,” And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.” This tells us there will also be living believers on Earth at the time of the Second Coming. They will have survived the Great Tribulation and will be welcomed live into the the Millennial Kingdom. They are the sheep in the Sheep and Goat judgment (Matt. 25:31-46).”
