Articles of the Day 12/12/14: All Israel Did Was Give Them Land

Repent! The time of the Lord is close at hand. Open your heart to Jesus Christ. He is knocking at your door. Let him in and take up your cause before the Lord. Jesus Christ died for your sins, he was killed for them, he rose again and he will return again. Read Matthew 24:4-14 and ask yourself are these things taking place now?

Israel Borders

Op-Ed: Solidarity with Israel – Visiting the South

“Sderot is the front line of Israel and Israel is the front line of Europe” Avi Sulemani, who heads the community center, told me. The control center of the city is under a bunker which monitors what is happening in every corner of the city. “Every house and building in Sderot will be protected by shelters. We withdrew from Gaza, and Hamas has interpreted it as a sign of weakness. A tunnel was dug in the last war two hundred meters from the city’s borders. But despite everything, they destroy and we rebuild”

Terrorist spills acid on Israeli family in West Bank

“5 family members and 2 additional citizens mildly injured in terrorist acid attack.”

Interesting use of the word ‘spills’ insinuating it was an accident, which it was not. Even Israel’s own media attempts to hide the horrific crimes of Arab Muslims.

Gaza Is Almost Totally Cut Off From The World, And It’s Getting Ugly

“Hamas’s summer hostilities failed to coerce Israel into lifting its border restrictions and likely convinced Egypt to tighten theirs. Palestinian political gridlock and Hamas’s weapons arsenal leave little optimism that the root causes of Gaza’s isolation — Hamas’s empowerment, the Palestinian Authority’s collapse, and the chaos and radicalism that each have given rise to — can be resolved peacefully either. And there’s almost no possibility of a negotiated resolution to the larger Israeli-Palestinian conflict if Gaza remains outside the full control of the PA, which is the only entity that the peace process empowers to make a deal on the Palestinian people’s behalf.”

It is sad to see Palestinians in such a state. But lets remember they voted Hamas into power. Since then Hamas has only sought conflict with Israel and they have angered Egypt with their terrorist activities. The mess they are in is because they are away from God and believe in a false God. They are filled with hate for Israel and all Israel did was give them land.

Palestinians Flee Hamas, Ask Israel to Imprison Them

“I’m sad that I’m back in the Gaza Strip. I went through happy times [in Israeli detention], where I had food, calm, good work, although I did not receive a salary. Those were unforgettable days where I had delicious food that we don’t have in the Gaza Strip.” — Rabi, 16, who crossed the border from Gaza and was held in detention for three months before being sent back home. Not only is Hamas unwilling to accept any kind of responsibility, but it continues to hold everyone but itself responsible for the tragic situation n the Gaza Strip. Instead of working to improve the living conditions of its people, Hamas is continuing to prepare for the next war against Israel. In recent weeks, Hamas increased its rocket and mortar firing tests out to sea.”

The Palestinians held a gathering recently in Ramallah for the coming Mahdi, the Muslim messiah, as he will come to establish a caliphate, a worldwide kingdom, in Jerusalem

“The important thing to know is that, that belief which is expressed at that rally in Ramallah North of Jerusalem that the Islamic world will subjugate the entire rest of the world under Islam seems to be very mainstream in the Palestinian world. We hear it regularly from the Hamas today, we’ve heard it in the past on television, we haven’t heard it that much recently or at all recently, but I think that is because they know Palestinian Media Watch is listening to them and they’ve toned down some messages, but we’ve heard it.”

Syria-Iraq

Qatar allows money to flow to Islamic State, other terrorists: report

“The government of Mahdi continues to willfully turn a blind eye to individuals channeling money to al Qaeda-affiliated groups across the Middle East and to Islamic State extremists in Syria and Iraq, despite joining a U.S.-led military coalition battling the militant group, according to a report released Wednesday by a Washington-based think tank.”

Iraq Situation Report: December 9-10

Meanwhile…

An Arab prince denounces Islamism

“In a remarkable but thus-far unnoticed address on Dec. 5, Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the crown prince of Bahrain (an island kingdom in the Persian Gulf and home to the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet), candidly analyzed the Islamist enemy and suggested important ways to fight it.

He has much to teach Westerners (starting with his hapless UK counterpart, Crown Prince Charles), if only we would listen. Yes, some Western leaders speak about confronting the Islamist ideology, but the majority avoids this issue by resorting to euphemism, obfuscation, and cowardice. Most frustrating are those leaders (like Tony Blair) who deliver powerful speeches without follow-through.”

House Spending Bill Earmarks $3.7 Billion in Military Aid for Israel, With Special Emphasis on Anti-Missile Systems

“While political relations between the Obama Administration and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government may be rocky, the $1.01 trillion spending bill expected to pass through Congress in the next few days tells a very different story with regard to US-Israel bilateral relations.”

Jihadist violence ‘killed 5,000 in November’

“The four worst-affected countries were Iraq, Nigeria, Afghanistan and Syria, accounting for 80% of all deaths. The investigation – co-ordinated with the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation (ICSR) – recorded a total of 664 attacks in 14 countries. It aims to quantify the human cost of jihadist violence in one month, and to offer a snapshot of a complex movement. The investigation showed that nearly seven people died every hour in November as a result of violence attributed to al-Qaeda, its offshoots and groups that subscribe to a similar ideology.”

Prophecy

Who Was The Lord Prophetically Speaking To?

“Q. I believe in pre-tribulation rapture. From my research I believe Matt. 24:40-42 are referencing the Second Coming (and not the Rapture). Matthew 24:40-41 says, “Then there shall be two men in the field; one will be taken, and one will be left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken, and one will be left.” Who are the ones taken, and who are the ones left ? Also who is Jesus prophetically telling to keep watch in Matt. 24:42?

A. In Matt. 24:40 the Greek word translated “taken” means “to take with one’s self, to join to one’s self”. These are the ones who will be welcomed into the Millennial Kingdom. They are the sheep of the sheep and goat judgment (Matt. 25:31-46). The Greek word translated “left” means “to send away”. It’s often used in the context of a divorce, as in “he left his wife.” These are the ones who will be sent away to judgment. They are the goats. The people Jesus is telling to keep watch in Matt. 24:42 are surviving tribulation believers who will be saved after the rapture and are still on earth at the time of the 2nd Coming. We know this because He said, “You do not know on what day your Lord will come.” Unbelievers don’t see Him as their Lord.”

The Prophetic Road to Revelation (Part IV):The War of Gog of Magog

“There are innumerable commentators who have discussed at length the identification of the nations comprising the Gog/Magog confederation which comes against Israel in the “latter days.” I will simply cite the Table of Nations found in Genesis 10 and provide the reader with this incredible map which graphically illustrates the distribution of the descendants of Noah. Those nations and their modern equivalents can be quickly located on this map.”

Quakes Before the Temple Fell

“Vic: Now we read from Luke 21:11 where Jesus reveals, “There will be great earthquakes, famines, pestilence in various places and fearful events and great signs from heaven.” Tell us about the end times sign of earthquakes.

Nathan: Matthew 24, Luke 21 and Mark 13 are all parallel passages. The Apostles were listening to Jesus’ teachings and were writing them down from their own point of view, and some of them put the signs in different order, but all the signs are equal in each parallel passage. I’ll follow Luke 21, for normally pestilence would come first if you were reading Matthew 24.”

Understanding the Temple of Revelation 11

“A. You’ve raised many good questions concerning the so-called “Tribulation Temple” mentioned in Revelation 11. Since this is a topic which can’t really be addressed without lengthy treatment of many related issues, I’ve attempted to respond to three central ideas represented by your questions.

Is the Temple measured as a sign of favor or as a sign of its impending judgment (questions 1-4)?
Why was Herod’s Temple judged and why would God’s treatment of the tribulation Temple differ (questions 5-7)?
Wouldn’t rebuilding the tribulation Temple represent a regression to the Old Mosaic Covenant (against the teaching of the Book of Hebrews) and represent an act of unbelief (8-9)?”
