Articles of the Day 2/18/15: An Islamic Storm
Repent! The time of the Lord is close at hand. Open your heart to Jesus Christ. He is knocking at your door. Let him in and take up your cause before the Lord. Jesus Christ died for your sins, he was killed for them, he rose again and he will return again.Read Matthew 24:4-14 and ask yourself are these things taking place now?
Inner Ring (Countries or terror groups that border Israel)
“Little 4-year-old Adele Biton has died, two years after a road terror attack left her in critical condition; she had 6 months free of hospitals before passing away.”
The Palestinians have much innocent blood on their hands. May God avenge her.
“Top PA religious leaders claim Al-Aqsa Mosque ‘threatened’ by Israel, renewing calls that led to terror wave in October and November.”
“The Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah is participating in a military offensive with Syria’s Assad regime and Iran against moderate rebel groups in the south of Syria. If successful, Hezbollah will have extended its front for attacking Israel.”
“Iran’s deployment in Syria, and particularly the presence of its forces in the Golan Heights, at first only as command posts and a limited number of special forces, reveals a trend of Iranian activity in the region that is direct, not only by proxy as it has been to date. According to the Iranian plan, the command posts are meant to operate “130,000 trained Iranian Basij fighters waiting to enter Syria,” as is evident from May 2014 statements by Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) senior official Hossein Hamedani, that were censored and removed immediately after publication in Iran.”
“CAIRO (AP) — Egypt is making an ambitious bid to place itself at the center of the fight against extremism across the Middle East. Beyond fighting militants in its own Sinai Peninsula, it is trying to organize an international coalition against the Islamic State in Libya and helping Saudi Arabia defend its borders.”
Outer Ring (countries or terror groups that are close to but not bordering Israel)
“Jihadist militants from Islamic State (IS) have burned to death 45 people in the western Iraqi town of al-Baghdadi, the local police chief says.”
Another day, another atrocity committed by believers in Islam.
“Forces of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant have embarked on a major assault to breach the fortification belt defending the Iraqi Kurdish Republic’s capital Irbil and reached within 45 km of the city. International coalition aircraft in the area are unable to strike ISIS units because the two sides are in close-proximity combat on the ground. The Islamists was attempting to infiltrate Kurdish lines along part of the River Zab but where the fortifications are strung out and weapons foir the Kurdish defenders in short supply. DEBKAfile: That the Islamists were able to mass forces so close to the Kurdish capital attests to the inefficacy of the US-Jordanian-UAR air operation against the invaders.”
“BEIRUT — The leader of Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement acknowledged for the first time Monday that the Shiite militia has sent fighters to Iraq, and he urged Arab states throughout the region to set aside sectarian rivalries to confront the threat posed by the Islamic State.”
“God’s purpose for the tribulation (i.e., the seven-year, 70th week of Daniel) revolves around His plan for Israel and does not include an earthly presence for the church. Why? Because God’s plan for Israel is unfinished at this point in history. When the role of the church is completed she will be taken as a completed body to heaven in an instant – at the rapture. This will clear the way for a restoration and resumption of progress toward the completion of our Sovereign Lord’s plans for His elect nation – Israel.”
“Q. My question is in regards to the tribulation saints. I believe that when Jesus come in the rapture, we and all others who died in Christ will get perfected bodies. The ones that died will be resurrected right? If so, does this mean that there will be a second resurrection for the tribulation believers who die? Thank you for your help.
A. The answer to your question is yes and no. According to Rev. 20:4 Tribulation martyrs will be resurrected at the time of the 2nd Coming. But notice that Rev. 20:5 says this is still considered to be the first resurrection. It began with the Lord, will continue with the resurrection of believers at the time of the Rapture (1 Thes. 4:16-17), and will conclude (for now) with the Tribulation Martyrs and Old Testament believers (Daniel 12:1-2). (The Bible does not tell us anything about believers who die during the Millennium.)
The unsaved dead will come to life to be judged at the end of the Millennium, 1000 years later (Rev. 20:11-15). This will be the 2nd resurrection.
By the way, it’s from Daniel 12:2 that we discover there will be 2 types of resurrection, one to everlasting life and the other to shame and everlasting contempt. So while there are several resurrection events, there are only two types of resurrection, the first resurrection and the second resurrection.”
“Q. I really enjoy your website, thanks for all the work you do. Here is my question. In Psalms 51:11 David says” Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me”. First off, I thought believers were not given the Holy Spirit until after Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection. My next question is why did he pray “take not thy Holy Spirit from me”? It sounds to me as if the Holy Spirit could be taken back. Any insight into this scripture would be appreciated. Thank you!
A. Having the Holy Spirit sealed within us is a gift given exclusively to the church. Before the Resurrection and after the Rapture, the Holy Spirit is said to be “with” a person and can even “come upon” a person in a demonstration of power, but is never described as dwelling within a person. A good example of that is when Jesus said to the disciples, “You know Him for He has been with you and will be in you” (John 14:17). He was speaking of the Holy spirit Who they would receive in a few days (John 20:22).
Therefore David was justifiably concerned that the Lord could remove the presence of the Holy Spirit from his life because of his sin with Bathsheba. After all, David had seen the same thing happen to Saul after he disobeyed (1 Sam. 16:14). Since the Holy Spirit is sealed within us as a guarantee of our inheritance (Ephesians 1:13-14), you and I need have no such fear.”
“Exclusive: Jihadists hoping to use Libya as a “gateway” to wage war across the whole of southern Europe, plans by Isil supporters reveal.”
“Italian officials have expressed serious concerns that they could face an invasion by Islamic State forces, which have been on a rampage in Libya. In recent days, Libyan ISIS terrorists executed 21 Coptic Christians on a Mediterranean beach – with the location chosen deliberately to imply that the group would be seeking to bring its brand of Islamic fundamentalism to Europe.”
“Franklin Graham is warning that a storm of Islamic persecution is coming against Christians in the West.”
It is not coming…..it is already here!
“Several members of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) recently reported on their social media accounts that a delegation of MB members had visited the U.S. State Department on January 27, 2015 and met with officials from the State Department and White House, as well as with members of Congress and representatives from American research institutes. According to the MB reports, the purpose of the meeting was to recruit support for their opposition to the ‘Abd Al-Fattah Al-Sisi regime in Egypt.”
One does wonder why the Obama administration courts supporters of terror more then US allies.
“What does the IDF’s technological future have in store? The ground forces future arms systems and munitions, including the Armored Corps and Artillery Corps, will include a combination of autonomous robotic systems in the battlefield.”
