Articles of the Day 3/24/15: Those That Curse Israel
Repent! The time of the Lord is close at hand. Open your heart to Jesus Christ. He is knocking at your door. Let him in and take up your cause before the Lord. Jesus Christ died for your sins, he was killed for them, he rose again and he will return again. Read Matthew 24:4-14 and ask yourself are these things taking place now?
Inner Ring (Countries or terror groups that border Israel)
“Israel’s freezing of 2.5B NIS in PA tax revenues could lead to violence, IDF estimates. Terror activity on the rise.”
“As such, Hezbollah has become more brazen in its open readiness to attack Israel, military sources stated. According to several IDF reports, Hezbollah terrorists have begun openly patrolling up and down the border – sometimes in civilian clothing, sometimes wearing Lebanese Army uniforms – and documenting on camera what happens each day on the border fence and documenting “engineering work.”
“An information security expert from Gaza claims that that the IDF has been using a new technological device in order to collect intelligence on Hamas – an electronic dragonfly that can track its members and shoot at targets.”
This freaks me out so I know it scares Hamas. Could just be effective propaganda however. Islamist are so prone to conspiracy theories they are likely to believe this. Either way, don’t mess with Israel and the IDF because you are messing with God.
“Instead of congratulating the Israeli people for being one of the few countries in the Middle East to hold real free and democratic elections, Obama has decided to inflict collective punishment not on Netanyahu, but on all Israelis, even its Muslim and Christian citizens, for having an election that came out not the way he wanted it to.”
“Would Jews be allowed to run in elections in a Palestinian state if they chose to remain there? Or would they be forced to flee to save their lives if such a state came into existence? These are questions that Americans who regard themselves as liberals rarely, if ever, ask in public. They are not questions that the Obama White House has posed.”
“Continuing President Barack Obama’s assaults on Binyamin Netanyahu, Denis McDonough, White House chief of staff referred to Netanyahu’s campaign remark that there would be no Palestinian state while he was in office as impossible to ignore and “very troubling.” Addressing the annual conference of Democratic Party-linked J Street group, he said that this was not a matter of personal relations between Obama and Netanyahu but differences on substantial policy issues. The US will never stop working for a two-state solution as the centerpiece of a peace accord, he said, adding, ”An occupation that has lasted more than 50 years must end.” The US media covering McDonough’s speech noted that he did not refer to any steps that the Obama administration proposed to take against Netanyahu and Israel.”
Perhaps the Obama administration should read Genesis 12:3:
3 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.”
“EU calls on Israel to allow UN human rights investigator Makarim Wibisono to visit Gaza.”
If there is one thing the recent Israeli election results show us, it is that the overwhelming majority of the Israeli population is sick and tired of the two state solution, that for years, has been forced down our throats. One of the most often quoted lines from the late Albert Einstein is that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. For almost forty years, from the time of the Camp David Accords until today, we have been brainwashed to believe that the only solution to the Israeli-Arab conflict is a two-state solution.
No need to worry. God will not allow a Palestinian state. It would have happened already.
Outer Ring (countries or terror groups that are close to but not bordering Israel)
“Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister warns against looming nuclear deal between Iran and West.”
“Speaking at a conference with Britain’s foreign secretary, Saudi top diplomat also suggests Riyadh may involve itself in Yemen if Iranian proxies do not cede power to the government.”
“BEIRUT (AP) — The Nusra Front, Syria’s al-Qaida affiliate, is consolidating power in territory stretching from the Turkish border to central and southern Syria, crushing moderate opponents and forcibly converting minorities using tactics akin to its ultraconservative rival, the Islamic State group.”
“Iran may be serious about a nuclear deal that ends its pariah status and the crippling sanctions. But it has been maximizing its strength across the Middle East.”
“While reading the Gospels, we can encounter passages which puzzle us. One such passage concerns a statement made by Jesus in response to questions on the part of his disciples concerning the destruction of the Jewish Temple and the end of the age (Luke 21:5-7).”
“Contrary to all the polls and predictions Benyamin Netanyahu and his Likud party have won another election. Some Israeli observers are calling this a landmark victory, because it came in spite of (or maybe as a reaction to) unprecedented external meddling in the country’s election process.”
“Four Blood Moons, a theatrical one-night event scheduled for March 23, 2015, and based on Texas megachurch pastor John Hagee’s New York Times bestseller of the same name, has garnered attention. I’m featured briefly in the film as a skeptic of Hagee’s central claim that a sequence of four total lunar eclipses signifies that “world history is about to change,” bringing about the rapid fulfillment of a biblical end-times prophecy. I’m also included in a 20-minute panel discussion on the movie that was recorded at Hagee’s San Antonio headquarters.”
“Q. What is prophecy? How do people prophesy, and are there still prophets today? I ask this because I think I have the gift of prophecy but I’m not sure. I’ve asked God about it, and I think He’s told me yes. It’s just that sometimes, I know things that are going to happen and that they are true. I have no idea how to explain it except for that. Please help!
A. Simply put, prophecy is history, told in advance. In Old Testament times God chose prophets to speak for Him so His people could know what He was doing. Also, since He often told them things that hadn’t happened yet, when those things came to pass it proved that He was who He claimed to be, since only God can accurately predict the future all the time.
Since the New Testament He has spoken to us through His Son, (Hebrews 1:1-2) who inspired the New Testament writers to give us the Scriptures. Even so, some believers receive the gift of prophecy as Paul taught in 1 Cor. 12:7-11. The purpose of this gift is to “fill in the blanks” in God’s revealed word by giving supporting information as to how God’s plan will be fulfilled in various situations. Accordingly all prophecy given today has to be consistent with and validated by God’s Word. This is what makes the New Testament gift of prophecy different than the Old Testament office of Prophet.
I believe someone with the gift of prophecy would know by testing his or her prophecies against actual events. In Old Testament times Prophets were required to be 100% accurate. Check yourself and see how you do.”
“Q. In Luke 21: 24 it mentions ‘the times of the Gentiles’. In Romans 11:25, it mentions ‘the fullness of the Gentiles’. But, according to Revelation 7:9 and 7:14, there will be Gentiles saved during the great tribulation. I have difficulty to explain Romans 11:25 together with Revelation 7:9,14. Is the ‘times of the Gentiles’ and the ‘fullness of the Gentiles’ pointing to the same time?
A. The times of the Gentiles mentioned in Luke 21:24 runs from the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, which began about 608 BC and ends at the 2nd Coming. The reason it’s plural is because there are four major kingdoms involved, Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome (twice).
The fullness of the Gentiles in Romans 11:25 refers to the number of people who become believers during the Church age. When this number is reached, the Rapture will take place. Gentiles saved after the Rapture (Rev. 7:9,14)are called Tribulation Saints and don’t belong to the Church.”
“Sisi also called for countering “extremist” views and erroneous religious beliefs, adding that the Islamic value of tolerance must be promoted.”
Sisi is actually speaking true wisdom here. Will the world listen? Not likely.
“At a critical historical moment, Europe has begun to pivot toward Israel because of Islamist terrorism on the continent.”
God could be tipping the scales given the way the Obama administration is treating Israel. However, in the end, Israel will stand alone.
