Articles of the Day 6/8/15: What Planet Is The UN On?

Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.
I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand,
and I will do all that I please.Isaiah 46:9-10

UN: “Israel did not violate children’s rights”

“A UN report harshly criticized the IDF but stated that neither Israel nor Hamas violated children’s rights during Operation Protective Edge.”

What planet is the UN on?  It was well documented that Hamas used children as human shields to ward off Israeli attacks. The UN gets more corrupt with each passing day.

“An Iron Dome anti-rocket battery was posted Monday at Beersheba, capital of the Negev, to ward off launchings from the Gaza Strip. A number of batteries have been strewn across southern Israel in the last three days following rocket attacks from Gaza.”

Idlib gains bring Syrian rebels closer to Assad’s coastal homeland

Spain: Military action against ISIS may be necessary in Libya

“A military intervention in Libya could be necessary if the Islamic state group implements a caliphate there, said the Spanish Minister of Defense in an interview published Saturday by El Pais. “We were in Afghanistan to stop all this, we are in Iraq, Mali and Somalia with the same goal and now it is even closer. We must do something,” said Minister Pedro Morenes.”

The Slow Motion Fulfillment Of Isaiah 17

“See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins. The cities of Aroer will be deserted and left to flocks, which will lie down, with no one to make them afraid” (Isaiah 17:1-2).
“Isaiah 17 is an oracle concerning Damascus that was partially fulfilled when the Assyrians conquered Aram in 732 BC and 10 years later conquered the breakaway Northern Kingdom of Israel. It’s the portion of Isaiah 17 that were not fulfilled that concern us today, and the most obvious one is the fact that Damascus has never been reduced to a heap of ruins. Although the city has been conquered several times it has yet to be destroyed like the prophecy of Isaiah 17:1-2 requires.”

Isaiah 17 Before Ezekiel 38?

“Q. Is there any way to determine if Damascus will cease to be a city prior to Ezekiel 38 or after Ezekiel 38? I suppose that the possibility of its destruction concurrent with the war of Ezekiel 38 must be considered for a thorough analysis.

A. I believe the lack of any mention of Syria among the Muslim coalition that comes against Israel indicates that Isaiah 17 will be fulfilled prior to Ezekiel 38. This is lack of mention is especially provocative since Ezekiel 38:6 says the coalition will come from the North, probably through what’s currently Syrian territory.”
