Articles of the Day 6/29/15: It’s An Abomination!
“Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.
I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand,
and I will do all that I please.“—Isaiah 46:9-10
Inner Ring (Countries or terror groups that border Israel)
“At around 10:00 a.m. a Palestinian driving a vehicle arrived at the Jordan Valley crossing. He asked by the soldiers manning the crossing to open the trunk of his car. “The car looked suspicious,” said Sgt. 1st Class (res.) Amit Elat. “When we asked him to open the trunk, the driver pulled out a weapon and began firing at us. We immediately took cover, and managed to neutralize the terrorist.”
“Three hits from bullets found on civilian ambulance driving near Beit El, as IDF hunts for terrorists thought to be from Bitin.”
“Terror group says fortified, 3.5 km tunnel built in preparation for next round of violence.”
Lacking any will or strength to attack Israel Hamas turns to video terror.
“Abutting Jordan, barrier to be erected alongside new Eilat airport; PM says it will ‘serve Israel’s security interests’”
“Prime Minister allegedly says in closed session that UNHRC’s Gaza report has placed its relationship with Israel at risk.”
Long overdue in my opinion. The UN has shown time and again it is completely biased against Israel. To the point where Israel should regard the UN as an outright enemy.
“Northern Command head Aviv Kochavi says shifting security reality a ‘small dot’ in regional trajectory.”
“Syrian ruler Bashar Assad and Hizballah leader Hassan Nasrallah have gone all out to stir up adversity between the Druze communitys of the Golan and Israel, and the Syrian rebel Al Qaeda-linked Nusra Front. To torpedo the armistice deal brokered between them earlier this month by the US, Jordan and Israel, 200 Syrian and Hizballah troops were pumped into the Druze village of Khader on the Syrian Golan, 3 km from the Israeli border. Since Friday, June 26, these troops have been attacking Nusra and the other Syrian rebel groups fighting to capture the Golan town of Quneitra. This has stalled the rebel operation for taking control of the highway to Damascus.”
“Israel has the ability to hack advanced computerized Hezbollah rockets to stop them from posing a threat, former IDF Brig.- Gen. Pinchas Barel Buchris said Wednesday at Tel Aviv University.”
Little surprised they may this public.
Outer Ring (countries or terror groups that are close to but not bordering Israel)
“Syrian regime troops try to take back two districts, but lose 12 soldiers as ISIS unleashes 3 lethal car bombs.”
“Lockheed-Martin is studying an Israel request for a longer flight range that would make refueling easier. The manufacturer of the F-35 stealth attack plane, which Israel might use to attack Iran, is examining an Israeli request to extend the flight range by 30 percent, Amir Rapaport of the Israel Defense website reported Thursday. Approximately 1,000 miles (1,500 kilometers) separate Israel and Iran, and the current F-35 is designed to fly approximately the same distance without refueling.”
“Q. I believe that I have been very blessed and have always been in churches that would be considered to be Evangelical, Bible Believing (literal word) and are in the church of Philadelphia. As I read the letters to the Churches in The Book of Revelation, am I correct in believing that in all seven churches there may be individuals who are of the church of Philadelphia (truly saved); and also there may be individuals within the church of Philadelphia who are not saved?
A. I believe that the first three churches of Rev. 2-3 (Ephesus Smyrna, Pergamum) are no longer present on Earth but the other four are. I believe that Thyatira represents the Catholic Church, Sardis the main line Protestants, Philadelphia the born again Evangelicals, and Laodicea the Apostates. If you read the letters to Thyatira and Sardis carefully you’ll see hints that some are saved and some aren’t. Since everyone who is born again is saved there’s no such division in Philadelphia. And in Laodicea, the only promise is to those who come out of the church.
Remember, you can’t equate this to specific congregations. Just because a person sits in an evangelical church on Sunday doesn’t mean he or she is saved. It’s what’s in our heart that counts, not what’s on the door of the church we attend.”
“Q. How soon do you think the period known as “Daniel’s 70th week” could possibly come (worst case scenario)? Is there any feasible way that it could occur as early as 2015? Doesn’t 2016 or 2017 sound more plausible?
A. I believe the 70th Week of Daniel will commence when Israel officially reinstates their covenant with God. This is what will prompt their need for a temple.
I look for this reinstatement to come on the heels of the Battle of Ezekiel 38-39, because I believe God’s purpose in prompting this battle is to open Israel’s eyes to His presence in their national life. The miraculous way in which He will defeat Israel’s enemies will accomplish this (Ezekiel 39:22).
I really don’t see the Battle of Ezekiel 38 happening this year because Ezekiel 38:11 says Israel will be at peace and not expecting to be attacked when it commences. But at the rate things are going, your estimate of 2016 or 2017 could prove accurate.”
“Q. Do you think the tinder box in the Middle East might burn out of control again soon? With possibly another ground excursion on the horizon against Hamas and now with Hezbollah possibly getting involved in the north, could we see Psalm 83/Isaiah 17 come to pass quite soon? Will Psalm 83/Isaiah 17 come before or after the Rapture? Or can it go either way? On the one hand if Psalm 83/Isaiah 17 did come to pass before the Rapture, does that mean we are on the fast-track to the Rapture and the Tribulation?
A. It’s certainly possible. I think the next clue would be if the leaders of Hizbollah are successful in convincing Iran and Syria to give them the go ahead on opening a northern front. It could go either way but I think it’s likely that the Psalm 83/Isaiah 17 battles will take place before the Rapture.
Since I believe the Rapture is based on reaching a specific number of believers rather than a specific date, the Psalm 83/Isaiah17 battles will only impact its timing if they prompt a surge in conversions to Christianity.”
“Another ancient Bible prophecy seems to be nearing its fulfillment! The subject nation of this vastly overlooked prediction is Jordan. Approximately 2600 years ago, the Hebrew prophet Jeremiah foretold of a tormenting fear that would someday engulf this Arab state.
The prophecy informs that Jordan will tremble as troubling events close in on all sides of its borders. Jeremiah 49:5 says “Behold, I am going to bring terror upon you,” Says the Lord GOD of hosts, “From all your neighbors…” (i) In other words, terrorizing geo-political events surrounding Jordan will destabilize the nation. This type of terror has never overtaken this territory until now!
According to Jeremiah 49:1-5; the instability that occurs within the country burgeons into an epic biblical war against Israel, which results in Jordan’s destruction and the expansion of the Jewish state.
Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “That I will cause to be heard an alarm of war In Rabbah (Amman, Jordan) of the Ammonites; It shall be a desolate mound, And her villages shall be burned with fire. Then Israel shall take possession of his (land) inheritance,” says the LORD. (Jer. 49:2-3, NKJV)”
President Obama is calling the Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage a “victory for America,” but the Rev. Franklin Graham warns Obama is leading the nation on a sinful course and “God will judge him and us as a nation if we don’t repent.” At a Gay Pride event in the White House prior to the court ruling this week, Obama said, “There has been an incredible shift in attitudes across the country,” and he was right, Graham wrote in a post on his Facebook page.
“But it is definitely not a shift for the good of America. The shift in attitudes he refers to is the moral decline we are seeing manifest daily around us,” Graham, who leads the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, wrote. “Accepting wrong as right—accepting sin as something to be proud of. Yes, that’s definitely a shift. Should we be surprised that he thanked the LGBT community for all that they had helped him accomplish during his time as president?” Graham added, noting that Obama said, “A lot of what we’ve accomplished over these last six and a half years has been because of you.”
I have been praying for the US heavily since that decision came down. The LORD made it pretty clear. It’s an abomination! It is detestable. It’s sinful rebellious behavior. It is wrong. He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah over it. He will likely do the same again. See Leviticus 20-13. In the Old Testament days people were put to death for such acts. Because of Jesus Christ, people today who engage in this simply need to repent, ask for forgiveness and no longer sin this way. Not everything is as clear as this in the Bible. The US has fallen so far from God. They have forgotten 9/11, Katrina, and housing crisis. These were warnings sent by God. Time is running out people!
“Muslims commit or attempt at least eight serious attacks, including two murders – and the month isn’t halfway over.”
Islam, not exactly a religion of peace. Complete opposite of Jesus Christ who preached love, hope and forgiveness.
“Palestinian prisoner Khader Adnan ended a 56-day hunger strike on Sunday after Israel agreed to release him, his lawyer and the Palestinian Prisoners Club announced.”
Another bad precedent set by Israel regarding prisoners. Now other prisoners will simply start a hunger strike and be released to return to their terror activities.
