Articles of the Day 7/13/15: Guaranteed War
“Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.
I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand,
and I will do all that I please.“—Isaiah 46:9-10
Inner Ring (Countries or terror groups that border Israel)
“Rock terror creeps northward: family escapes death when huge rock is dropped on car from bridge. Besides Arutz Sheva, the media is silent.”
“Western and Arab sources reported Sunday that Iran and Hizballah have launched a three-part operation to destabilize the regime on Jordan as counteraction for the kingdom’s role as the principle base for the training of Syrian rebels by American CIA instructors. Jordan also hosts 1.5 million Syrian refugees.
Part I: Planting Iranian Al Qods Brigades agents for terror missions. This month, an Iraqi-Norwegian infiltrator was caught entering Jordan from Iraq carrying 45 kg of explosives. He tried claiming he was a member of ISIS’s Sinai affiliate Ansar Beit al-Maqdis, but later confessed he had been sent by Al Qods and Hizballah for terrorist attacks in Jordan. Tehran denied this allegation.
Part II: Al Qods and Hizballah are recruiting Jordanian Palestinians and Muslim Brotherhood adherents for rowdy anti-government demonstrations against the kingdom.
Part III: Syria’s contribution is to intensify the military pressure on its border with Jordan.”
Outer Ring (countries or terror groups that are close to but not bordering Israel)
“Speaking to Knesset, PM Binyamin Netanyahu says it appears P5+1 have made their minds up already – and so has Israel.”
The negotiations seem to go on forever. Which was the plan I believe. The WH thinks if negotiations are going on Israel will not attack. They might be right. However, once Obama is out of office, no matter who the next US President will be, Israel will finally attack Iran and the Psalm 83 campaign will begin. The stage is nearly set. Syria, Hezbollah and Hamas are well armed but otherwise the weakest they have been in years. ISIS has done much of the work. Israel may actually have more useful allies in the Gulf states. Netanyahu has a more reliable government with which to conduct a war. The Israeli public are behind him on Iran. Conditions are nearly perfect for an Israeli offensive on a mass scale. What the P5+1 have done is nearly guaranteed war in the region.
“The Iraqi military command announced Monday that operations had begun to recapture the country’s largest province of Anbar from Islamic State-ISIS control. The first target of Iraqi troops, backed by Shiite militias, is the town of Falluja, 50 km west of Baghdad, nearly two months after ISIS captured the Anbar capital of Ramadi. The force is composed of the Shiite Hashid Shaabi militia, Iraqi special forces, police and local Sunni Muslim tribal fighters. DEBKAfile: The Iraqi high command has announced a number of offensives against ISIS in the past in Anbar, Ramadi and the refinery city of Baiji, but they all continue to drag on without a resolution.”
“By these standards, Israel finds herself surrounded by enemies who have conspired together to destroy the Jewish state. This would be a likely scenario in light of the fact that eventually the whole world will go against Israel, but we are faced with an inconsistency. There are two countries that have an ongoing peace treaty with Israel in the whole Middle East: Jordan (Edom, Moab and Ammon) and Egypt (Hagarenes, Sinai Peninsula). Yet these are listed as enemies of Israel, so how can this be possible? I wonder if the answer could not be found in the events of the last year and the progress of ISIS (Islamic State) in the region? ISIS is continuously making progress in a very volatile region, not to mention their global recruitment over the last year.”
“Q. Persecution of Christians seems to be happening more and more. Do you think we will experience persecution (bodily harm) and death in America as is true in China, India, Iran, and various places in the middle East before the Rapture? A number of prophecy people think we should prepare for serious suffering and even death by beheading. Would you please tell us your thoughts about persecution?
A. Concerning Christian persecution, I believe the enemy only bothers with the Church where it’s vibrant and growing. Since that’s no longer the case in the West I don’t expect the kind of violent persecution here that we read about in other places before the Rapture. In short I don’t think Satan feels like we’re worth that much effort. I think the persecution of Christians in the US will mostly likely consist of the loss of free speech, freedom of assembly, and other civil liberties, especially among those who hold to traditional evangelical views. We’re beginning to see some of this already.
The reference to beheading is from Rev. 20:4 and applies primarily to Tribulation martyrs, although there are cases of beheading being reported in places where militant Islam is a major religious force. Warnings of such a thing happening in the Western Church come mostly from folks who hold the post-trib rapture view.”
“Q. Realizing that there may be husbands or wives left behind that did not accept Christ before the Rapture, does that mean if one spouse accepts Christ and is raptured and the mate accepts Him in the Trib, that they will not be together in the Millennium because the mate cannot go to the New Jerusalem? If so, there are surely going to be big regrets in the Trib when they realize they missed it.
A. According to my understanding of Rev. 21:27, your conclusion is correct.
Nothing impure will ever enter it (the New Jerusalem) nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
The spouse who goes in the rapture will receive a resurrection body and dwell in the New Jerusalem. The one who waits until after the rapture to accept the Lord and then survives the Great Tribulation will enter the Millennium in his or her natural state and will not be allowed to enter the New Jerusalem, since nothing impure can ever enter it.
Restrictions imposed upon a spouse who becomes a tribulation martyr and is resurrected at the 2nd Coming are less clear, although Rev. 21:27 also tells us only those who’s names are written in the Lamb’s book of life can enter the New Jerusalem. Many scholars believe only the names of those in the Church are written in that book. If so, even resurrected believers who are not in the Church would be barred from entering.
However, I haven’t found any indication in the Bible that Church age believers would be prevented from visiting Earth. Many of us have friends and family who will become Tribulation believers. I think our disappearance will most likely be the event that causes them to take that final step, and whether they survive or are martyred we will have the opportunity to see them again.
We should remember that our relationships will change after the rapture. The husband and wife relationship as we know it will be no more, but will be replaced by the kind of relationship the angels enjoy (Matt. 22:30). This will be true whether both husband and wife are raptured or whether one or the other is left behind.”
“Now, in what can be described as the opening silo in another round of the war on Christianity, LGBT activist and liberal journalist Felix Salmon has floated the idea of taking away the tax exempt status of any and all churches that do not support gay marriage.
Writing for Fusion, Salmon makes no bones over his belief that churches who do not support gay marriage should be attacked by the federal government through the removal of their tax exempt status.”
“The Satanic Temple plans to unveil a large statue dedicated to the devil in the city of Detroit later this month, despite intensified protests by church leaders and residents that have caused the original venue to back out of the event.”
As detestable as this is, it really is no different then a mosque opening. The same type of idol worship and blaspheme.
“A gay man is suing two heavyweight Christian publishers, claiming their versions of the Bible that refer to homosexuality as a sin violate his constitutional rights and have caused him emotional pain and mental instability.”
In essence, he is suing God. This may seem ridiculous to a believer but to the non-believer he might seem have a case. Shows how far the world has fallen away from God.
“The UN systematically condemns Israel but has virtually nothing to say about human rights abuses occurring in other parts of the world. The world has been silent about systematic human rights abuses committed in the Central Africa Republic and the Congo.”
