Articles of the Day 8/3/15: God Hates All Terror

Inner Ring (Countries or terror groups that border Israel)

Protesters attempt to set fire to Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus

“NABLUS (Ma’an) — Dozens of protesters from the Balata refugee camp in Nablus threw rocks, empty bottles, and Molotov cocktails at Israeli settlers and soldiers at Joseph’s Tomb on Saturday, sources said.”

Dozens of West Bank settlers treated for smoke inhalation after suspected arson by Palestinians

“Israeli settlers in Judea and Samaria are reporting a number of cases of violent disturbances and suspected arson on Friday as the region endures the tense aftermath of what authorities are calling a terrorist attack against a Palestinian family that left a toddler dead.”

Jewish terror is not any better then Palestinian terror but lets keep things in perspective here. For every 1 Jewish terror attack there is probably 50+ Palestinian attacks. God hates all terror. The cycle of violence fuels the hate. It will not stop until there is peace. The Jewish people overwhelmingly want peace, the Palestinian people overwhelmingly reject peace.

Israel readies Iron Dome on Lebanon border as Hezbollah anticipates arms from Iran

One year after Israel’s vaunted Iron Dome defense system helped protect citizens from a rocket barrage launched from Gaza, the Jewish State has deployed the shield to the north, likely amid fears Lebanon-based Hezbollah could get an infusion of cash and weapons from Iran.”

Remember too Israel launched a strike in Syria against Hezbollah last week, possibly eliminating Samir Kuntar.

Outer Ring (countries or terror groups that are close to but not bordering Israel)

US-led raids destroy IS bridges on Syria-Iraq border: monitor

“US-led coalition air strikes destroyed early Friday two key bridges used by the Islamic State group on the Syrian side of the Iraqi border, a monitoring group said.

The Pentagon confirmed strikes in the area, and a senior US officer said they will have a “profound impact” on IS abilities to carry out operations in the neighbouring and strategically important Iraqi province of Anbar.”

If these bridges are so important one wonders why they were not hit sooner?

Syria Daily, August 1: US War with Jabhat al-Nusra Escalates

“The US war with the Islamist faction Jabhat al-Nusra escalated inside Syria on Friday, with the Americans bombing the group and al-Nusra attacking the rebel division hosting US-trained rebels.

The US air force bombed al-Nusra positions near Azaz, in northern Aleppo Province close to the Turkish border, on Friday morning. Activists said 12 people were killed.

The American airstrike came as al-Nusra attacked the headquarters of the 30th Division of the Free Syrian Army, which hosts the 54 rebels trained by the US in a $500 million program to fight the Islamic State. The Division said five members were killed, 18 wounded, and 20 captured.”

Hizballah presses elite Radwan Force for conquering Galilee into saving stalled Zabadani battle

“Hizballah’s elite Radwan Force was originally designed to push in from Lebanon and conquer the Israeli Galilee. DEBKAfile’s exclusive military sources report that on Thursday, July 30 Hassan Nasralla saw he had no option but to press this high-value contingent into service ,to extricate the combined Hizballah-Syrian armies from their month-long failure to recapture the key town of Zabadani – or even breach the defenses set up by the Al-Qaeda affiliated rebel Nusra Front.

This standoff with heavy casualties over the key town, which commands the main Damascus-Beirut highway, has become a symbolic make-or-break duel between the Iran-backed Shiite Hizballah and Al Qaeda’s Sunni Nusra Front. Nasrallah loses it at the cost of his organization’s credibility as a formidable fighting force.
Defeat would make western Damascus and eastern Lebanon more vulnerable to attack. And for Iran’s Lebanese proxy, it would leave an embarrassing question hanging in the air: If Hizballah under Iranian command combined with Syrian troops and backed by heavy artillery fire and air strikes can’t win a relatively small battle against no more than 1,200 rebel fighters across a nine-km square battleground, how much are its leaders’ boasts worth when they claim unbeatable prowess for winning major battles, including a war on Israel?
To save face in this landmark showdown, Hizballah decided to press into battle its most prestigious unit, named for Al-Hajj Radwan, the nom de guerre of Hizballah’s renowned military chief Imad Mughniye, whom Israel took out in February 2008.”

Egypt: Iran’s Next Sunni Rival

“After an initially cautious response to the Iran nuclear deal, Egypt upped the ante against Tehran last week, with both the Foreign Ministry and the Al-Azhar religious seminary condemning the Islamic Republic’s “interference” in Arab affairs. Cairo has been more circumspect than Israel and the Gulf states in condemning the agreement, but its quiet should not be mistaken for acquiescence—like them, it dreads the effect of a cash-flush and potentially nuclear-armed Iran on its interests and security.”

The flow of jihadists into Syria dries up as Turkey cracks down on the border

“KARKAMIS, Turkey — For years, Turkey’s porous border with Syria provided a lifeline for the Islamic State, allowing the group to ferry weapons and fighters to a war zone where it was building its brutal “caliphate.”

But that is now changing.

Where jihadists once streamed over this frontier, high walls and police patrols now block the illicit flow. Turkish authorities began taking the tougher measures months ago, but they have intensified in recent days, as the government has pledged to join the U.S.-backed fight against the Islamic State.”

This remains to be seen. It looks more like Turkey is more concerned with eradicating the Kurds instead of ISIS. The Kurds are the most effective ground force facing ISIS and Turkey is annihilating them. Hard to understand how bombing the Kurds helps fight the war against ISIS. An odd strategy being used by the US. Don’t worry though Obama knows what he is doing.

Most churches today do not even discuss Hell.

God In The Bible Warns His Enemies With Extreme Heat, And God Just Cursed Iran With 164 Degree Weather On The Day That Iran Threatened Israel With Annihilation

“The temperature in Iran was so high that Iran’s heat index nearly broke that world record which was a suffocating 164 degrees. Meteorological experts said Iran is experiencing some of the hottest temperatures “ever endured by humankind.” “That was one of the most incredible temperature observations I have ever seen, and it is one of the most extreme readings ever in the world,” AccuWeather meteorologist Anthony Saglia told The Telegraph.”

Interesting the same day Khomeini releases his hate book for Israel there is record temperatures in Iran.

The Straight And Narrow Way

“Q. I know the Bible says that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. But why does Jesus say in Matt 7:14 “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Is it pertaining to faith?

A. While it is true that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13), it’s clear that no where near everyone has done so. In fact the Lord’s statement in Matt. 7:14 indicates that the number of people saved is a relatively small percentage of Earth’s total population.

In addition to those who reject the Gospel outright, many others have been distracted and misled onto the wrong road by false religions, false teachers and false doctrine that change the straight and narrow intent of Scripture.

For example, just within “Christianity” some of these doctrines teach that Jesus is not really the only way to salvation, or that Jesus wasn’t really God in the flesh, or that you don’t really need to be born again, or that his death didn’t really cover all of your sins so you have to work to finish the job yourself. The list of things man has done to distort the Gospel message is nearly endless.

The straight and narrow way is clearly laid out in John 6:28-29. When the people asked Him what work God requires of us, Jesus said, “The work of God is this; to believe in the one He has sent.”

This means we must accept the fact that we’re sinners in need of a savior, and believe that Jesus came to die for our sins and rose again, proving that His death was sufficient to purchase our pardon. Anything that adds to or subtracts from that simple statement can cause people to miss the straight and narrow way.

“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, ‘Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame’ “ (Romans 10:9-11).”

Meanwhile…

The Pope’s great Evangelical gamble

“Somewhere in Pope Francis’s office is a document that could alter the course of Christian history. It declares an end to hostilities between Catholics and Evangelicals and says the two traditions are now “united in mission because we are declaring the same Gospel”. The Holy Father is thinking of signing the text in 2017, the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, alongside Evangelical leaders representing roughly one in four Christians in the world today.”

Boy not from where I sit. This Pope clearly cares more about socialist matters then spiritual matters. As a priest representing God he is so far from scripture I am starting to believe he could be the false prophet. His desire of inter-faith religion, one world government, disrespect for the US constitution, etc. leaves me thinking this man is leading many astray to the broad gate.

An atheist advising the Pope? About science?

“A climate scientist is concerned that the Pope is aligning himself with secularists rather than theologians over so-called global warming.”

Christians Burn While Pope Worries about “Worldly” Matters

“In June, Pope Francis released his first independent encyclical. It merely served to highlight the indifference to the plight of persecuted Christians around the world.

The Pope warned about issues dealing with the environment, but he did not once mention the plight of persecuted Christians — even though he is well acquainted with it, and even though previous popes mentioned it when Christians were experiencing far less persecution than they are today.

Encyclicals are formal treatises written by popes and sent to bishops around the world. In turn, bishops are meant to disseminate the encyclical’s ideas to all the priests and churches in their jurisdiction, so that the pope’s thoughts might reach every church-attending Catholic.”

US would defend Israel as it would a NATO ally

“A US defense official said Monday that his country would defend Israel as it would a NATO ally. If Israel were attacked by Iran, the US would come to its defense. The US commitment to Israel’s security is “something US defense officials live on a daily basis,” he said in a briefing to Israeli diplomatic correspondent on a visit to Washington. The official said too that the US will not sell the state-of-the-art F35 fighter, promised to Israel to any other country in the Middle East, including Egypt. The official said that the US was “appalled” by Iranian calls to destroy Israel, “but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t sign a deal that decreases the likelihood they will be a nuclear state,” he said.

DEBKAfile: the Obama administration is in the midst of a media assault in Middle East countries to win journalists round in favor of the nuclear accord signed with Iran last month. The objective is to present their supportive articles to Congress to show US lawmakers that the nuclear deal enjoys a good press in the countries most affected.”

Cold reassurance to many in congress. Even colder to those in Israel. DO NOT TRUST THE U.S.! Just ask the Ukraine.
