IDF: Terror attacks by numbers (as of Oct 26):
5 car rammings
All planned and executed by Palestinians.
“Sigal Sofer recounts the moments in which Arabs hurled firebombs at her car, setting her 3-year-old daughter on fire.”
The Palestinians seem to intentionally target children. How brave of them. Is this what Islam teaches? To violently attack innocent children.
“As long as this incitement continues, not only is there no chance for peace, but there is little chance of bringing these horrific terror attacks to an end. The Europeans and the United States are now scrambling to figure out a way to stop what they call the “cycle of violence,” which in the current climate means Palestinian terrorists attacking and killing Jews, while Israeli police and soldiers shoot them to prevent the attacks from being successful or to minimize the damage during the attacks. They can start by addressing the incitement in the schools and textbooks, and making all funding of the Palestinian Authority and projects in the Palestinian territories conditional on eradicating these books and all incitement.”
“Israel has an interest in putting cameras in all parts of the Temple Mount,” he claimed. “Firstly, to refute the claim Israel is violating the status quo (and) secondly, to show where the provocations are really coming from, and prevent them in advance.”
It depends who will be monitoring the cameras. If it is the Waqf then the evidence from the cameras will be used to prosecute Israelis who ascend the Mount to pray. If it is the Israeli then there could be value showing the harassment by Muslims on Israeli visitors. Since this was a Jordanian idea I suspect the former to take place and this will be seen as Israeli submission to Islamic intimidation. This will lead to more bold attacks followed by more bold demands. Epic fail by Netanyahu.
“Recent calls from the Vatican in Rome for control of the holy sites in Jerusalem has caused concern for the political leaders of Israel. In fact, the Israeli government and the Vatican are deadlocked in discussions over the status of the religious sites in Jerusalem. In question would be the Holy Sepulchre, the Garden of Gethsemane, and the Upper Room which the Vatican demands to have under their sovereign control. The Vatican wants all of the Old City of Jerusalem to be made into an international zone, including the Temple Mount. The Jews claim the Temple Mount as their most sacred piece of real estate and they vow to never allow the sovereignty to be relinquished to the control of any other that the Jewish State of Israel.”
The land belongs to the Jews. Not too the Vatican, not to Palestinians and not too Christians. Respect the wishes of God.
“23 year-old man from the Golan Heights crossed the border via parasail; IDF investigating.”
This is a bizarre story. There is certainly more to it. When this occurred over the weekend the IDF mobilized air assets (jets and helicopters) ground forces and went into Syria after him. That is pretty risky move given tensions and the presence of Russian forces. All to chase a defector to ISIS? It could be what they said, a rescue operation. However, it could also have been a ISIS or Hezbollah spy escaping Israel. Israeli Arabs have been known to join ISIS in the past. Whatever it was, the IDF did not hesitate to send forces into Syria. That is the important point.
Outer Ring (countries or terror groups that are close to but not bordering Israel)
“WASHINGTON – Russian warplanes sent to Syria to back the regime of Bashar Assad are breaking down at a rapid rate that appears to be affecting their ability to strike targets, according to a senior Defense official.”
“Following calls by the group on Palestinians to launch additional attacks on Israelis, new video warns that ‘the real war has yet to begin.'”
“The Iraqi government authorized Russia to target Daesh (ISIS) convoys coming from Syria, a senior Iraqi official said. The authorization for Russia to target Daesh inside Iraq comes amid security coordination between Iraq, Russia, Iran and Syria.”
It would be surprising if they did bomb ISIS in Iraq. Their stated goal is to preserve the Assad regime not destroy ISIS in Iraq.
“Eight Hezbollah fighters have been killed in battles with rebel forces in the villages of Idlib and Halab in Syria, Al-Jazeera reported on Sunday. More than 1,000 members of Hezbollah have been killed since the start of the Syrian civil war in March 2011, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.”
“Q. In your article “Believe in Your Heart”, you mention that Jesus walked with His disciples, talked with them, ate with them and permitted them to touch Him to assure themselves He was not just a spirit, but a man with flesh and bone. Paul writes that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 15:50). So after the Rapture, will our glorified bodies no longer have flowing blood and a pumping heart?
A. In the article I used Luke 24:38-39 to show that Jesus was proving to his disciples that he was a tangible physical being, not a ghost. But in 1 Cor. 15:50 Paul was making the point that in our natural state we cannot inherit the Kingdom because natural men have a sin nature. We have to be perfected first. I don’t think either statement was meant as an indication of our post rapture/resurrection physical make up.”
“I don’t know what the Lord has in mind for me, our missionary work, or for this website. I do know that He has always been faithful. And I know that I will keep Jack’s words up indefinitely. As a dear friend told me, the Lord gave us this ministry and we won’t allow the devil to take it away. We’ve never done anything without seeking the Lord, and waiting for His provision. I will continue to live by the faith that it is our job to seek the Lord first and His righteousness, and it’s His job to provide all of our needs, even when we don’t know what that looks like.”
Grace Thru Faith update from Samantha.
“Pastor Carl Gallups warns believers are being put in bull’s-eye.”
I wish I could say this is just someone trying to capitalize on unwarranted fear but I am afraid the fear is warranted. Especially if Clinton gets elected. Under the previous Clinton, Americans might remember Waco and Ruby Ridge.
“Here’s what I know we can do: Like the courageous men and women at Umpqua Community College, in Roseburg, Oregon, we can stand up for our faith by unashamedly confessing Jesus Christ. They knew they would be killed when they stood and faced the gunman, and they stood anyway,” Graham said.”
