Inner Ring (Countries or terror groups that border Israel)
“Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has publicly confirmed for the first time that he turned down a peace offer in 2008 that would have provided for an independent Palestinian state containing all of the Gaza Strip, much of the West Bank (with land swaps), and a tunnel connecting the two areas.”
Consistently Palestinians have always chose conflict over peace. Why? Because they do not want a two-state solution. They want ALL of Israel.
“Stoning attacks in Israel go largely unreported, but on average there are several such incidents every day. The perpetrators are usually Palestinian Arab youth, and their victims are almost always Israeli Jewish motorists.”
“The world is now paying the price of not standing up to terrorism when it was directed only at Israel, as it had witnessed the murder of 132 people in the streets of Paris Friday night, Senator Chuck Schumer said on Sunday.”
Weakness in the face of terror emboldens terror. However, there is a fine line between revenge and doing what is necessary for defense.
“Socialist Party leader Jan Marijnissen: ‘The guys who carried out the attacks probably come from a group of outraged people from the French suburbs’”
Foolish ignorance. ISIS could careless about the Palestinians. This is why Socialists always fail. Bernie Sanders, another Socialist running for US President, had this profound statement:
“In fact, climate change is directly related to the growth of terrorism”
So either Israel is the problem or it is Climate Change, which is it?
“Survey shows 42.2% of Arab citizens support or are activists of outlawed pro-terror group, 18.2% of Muslim Arabs say ISIS isn’t terror.”
“Terrorists opened fire on IDF forces near Kfar Turmus Ayya in the Binyamin region. The IDF forces responded to the fire and eliminated one of the terrorists. Another two terrorists were arrested. No injuries were reported among the IDF soldiers.”
“Air raid sirens stay silent as projectile lands in area of border fence; no injuries or damage reported.”
“Minister Ariel demands Netanyahu cancel move, after Abdullah says only Jordan can view footage, will choose what to share with Israel.”
In that case this probably not a good idea then since they will likely filter out anything that incriminates the Palestinians.
Outer Ring (countries or terror groups that are close to but not bordering Israel)
“The aircraft, 5 x Tu-160 Blackjack, 6 x Tu-95MS Bear and 14 x Tu-22M3 Backfire bombers flew round trip missions from airbases in Russia to drop a variety of weapons: both air-launched cruise missiles, like the KH-555 whose remains were recovered in Syria, and free fall bombs, like those dropped by the Backfires, in the somehow old-fashioned carpet bombing (while being escorted by some Su-27s). Actually, the show of force of the Russian Air Force was also an opportunity to test some new “hardware” as the new KH-101 low-observable cruise missile.”
“A submerged Russian submarine successfully launched two ballistic missiles.”
“ISTANBUL — Intensifying pressure on the Islamic State, United States warplanes for the first time attacked hundreds of trucks on Monday that the extremist group has been using to smuggle the crude oil it has been producing in Syria, American officials said. According to an initial assessment, 116 trucks were destroyed in the attack, which took place near Deir al-Zour, an area in eastern Syria that is controlled by the Islamic State.”
“CAIRO (AP) — This is the fundamental contradiction, after Paris: Few in the West want to send ground troops to Syria and Iraq to battle the Islamic State group, but it may be even harder to find anyone who thinks airstrikes alone will defeat the radical extremists.”
There is just no will to fight in the West. Seeing civilians killed in their own streets, watching mass migrations overwhelm their borders still provide little motivation to extinguish evil. Even Russia, who has more to lose, is reluctant to commit troops in large numbers. Fear has griped the nations. Until there is will to overcome fear attacks like Paris will happen again and again.
“Islamic State made a grave strategic error by attacking the heart of Western civilization in Paris, which undoubtedly will provoke a fierce Western military response that could devastate the group.”
ISIS acted out of revenge but they also do not fear the West. They honestly do not believe the West will commit ground troops. Has the West given them a reason the think differently? To win you must commit yourself totally. Obama has openly stated he is not interested in winning. He must then be more interested in losing which he is doing well.
“CAIRO — More than six weeks of Russian airstrikes on rebel-held areas of Syria have failed to weaken the country’s insurgency, even as the military intervention has intensified international diplomatic efforts to end the four-year-long war.”
Unreal expectations by this reporter. Russia’s goal was simply to strengthen the regime and there have been limited gains. One cannot deny the toll on civilians but it is foolish to think air power alone could completely remove ISIS overnight.
“We noted at the onset that it is important to understand that all of the non-pretribulation positions have a difficult time handling the seven arguments favoring pre-tribulationalism previously discussed in this series. We have already noted the problems associated with mid-tribulationalism. In the last few articles we began to scrutinize the arguments claiming to favor post-tribulationalism. In this article, we will complete our analysis of post-tribulationalism.”
“Any study on these statements would be rich and edifying. However let’s just look at the door. The door is narrow. There is only one door. It is an exclusive door. No other door will allow entry to heaven. If anyone tries to come another way, he is a thief and a robber. (John 10:1)”
“Turkish fans booed during the minute’s silence for the victims of the Paris attacks before their national team drew 0-0 with Greece in a friendly international soccer game on Tuesday.”
In Islam, there is no ‘coexistence’. Remember that next time you see the bumper sticker. The heart of a Muslim is corrupted with hate.
“Op-ed: While chest-beating politicians declare ‘war on terror,’ many citizens think kindness to Muslim refugees is the best way to fight terrorism.”
If this was done out of a desire to glorify God then this would be a proper Christian response. However, that is not the source. There is no will in the West to fight. They are scared and afraid. Kindness can when over some Muslims but it emboldens many others. Muslims know they can intimidate the West. Also, for Europe at least, they really lack the ability to project military power. All they really can do is be kind while they get slaughtered.
