Inner Ring (Countries or terror groups that border Israel)
“The attack took place at a synagogue in the Panorama building along Ben Tzvi Street in southern Tel Aviv, as afternoon prayers were being conducted.”
“All five murders perpetrated by Palestinian terrorists Thursday, Nov. 19, led back to the Hebron district of the southern West Bank. The writing on the wall was there in June 2014, when three Israeli teenage boys, Gil-Ad Sheer, Yakov Frankel and Eyal Yifrah were kidnapped at the Gush Etzion intersection near Hebron, and eventually found murdered.”
“Seven wounded in two pronged attack in Gush Etzion involving gunfire and a car attack.”
“Yosayeb Aharon, 32, from Holon, and Aviram Reuven, 51, from Ramleh, were knifed to death while praying at a synagogue in the Beit Panorama building in southern Tel Aviv on Thursday afternoon. A third victim was hospitalized with moderate injuries. The terrorist, a resident of Hebron and father of five, had a permit to work at an Israeli restaurant. He tried to escape but was captured. Security forces have warned the killer’s family that their home is listed for demolition.”
“Shadi Arafa was killed alongside two Jews by an Arab terrorist – but that didn’t stop the PA and Hamas from burying him as a ‘martyr.'”
Sad. Like so many other Palestinians, an unwilling ‘martyr’. Hate out of control.
“Meet the Jerusalem Police’s surveillance unit, which has been instrumental in identifying terrorists and aiding in their capture using some 400 cameras covering almost every inch of the Old City.”
Whatever transpires in Jerusalem during the Great Tribulation there should be good video of it.
“Senior Israeli official says Syria has used most of its ballistic missiles on rebels, but has also transferred a few to Hezbollah.”
“The prime minister is under pressure from the United States to come up with a plan to preserve the option of a two-state solution in the absence of a renewed peace process. The US also is looking to him to take steps to ease life for Palestinians in the West Bank, despite the wave of Palestinian attacks against Israelis.”
This doesn’t sound good. In fact, it sounds a lot like rewarding terror.
Outer Ring (countries or terror groups that are close to but not bordering Israel)
“Although the government has made notable gains south of Aleppo city, and managed to break the Islamic State siege on Rasin al-Aboud Airbase, it has suffered set-backs to Sunni rebels on the Hama front line, and the vital M5 highway link between Damascus and Homs has come under increased threat from Islamic State advances in recent weeks.”
“Adviser to Iraq War warns of emergence of ‘widespread underground in Western Europe’ capable of advanced ‘urban guerilla warfare.'”
Also, like in Israel, the terrorists have a sympathetic Muslim population that may assist in terror operations. What is common place in Israel today will be common place in Europe tomorrow.
“Reports suggest operation will involve clearing terrorists from an area between Mare and Jarablus in northern Syria.”
“The Emad ‘guided ballistic missile’ that was unveiled on 11 October has a range of 1,700 km, the Fars News Agency cited Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force, as saying on 12 November.”
“A select group of European Union foreign ministers are working on a plan to create a super president for the European Union that would include merging the roles of the presidents of the European Union Council and the European Commission which would be a more legitimate democracy in the European Union because this super president would be elected by the members of the European Parliament.”
EU desperate for leadership. An Anti-Christ can’t save them.
“We have an obligation, and a duty, to show compassion to every man, woman, and child in America by not putting them at needless risk or in harm’s way. Individual Christians may say that they are willing to take the risk to their personal safety in order to alleviate the suffering of these poor people. The problem is that you are not just putting your life at risk; you are putting your fellow Americans’ lives at risk without their consent.”
I have been on the side of showing mercy to all the refugees and I can’t approve of all the demonizing of them. Dr. Land brings up a compelling point however, while I may accept the risk my neighbor may not. As a Christian, I am ashamed to admit, I am pretty torn by the debate. Not only are we to obey and show mercy but we are also to love our enemies and go the second mile. (Matthew 5). Trust that God will protect you and your neighbors.
Love Your Enemies
“43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor[g] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,[h] 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your brethren[i] only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors[j] do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”
Go the Second Mile
“38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’[f] 39 But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. 40 If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. 41 And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. 42 Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.”
I know everyone is afraid. That is what terrorism does, it spreads fear. While, perhaps, it is selfish of me to want to show mercy is it not also selfish to be afraid? It’s natural to be afraid, but that does not always justify fear. Sometimes, when fighting evil, one must rise above their fear and put their trust in God. That is the real issue. Lack of faith in God. We are to show mercy and trust that God will protect us. In the West, we lack faith and trust in God so we debate whether to show mercy to others. If we had complete faith and trust in him there would be no debate. Mercy would be given.
“Less than 3 percent of the Syrian refugees admitted to the United States so far are Christian and 96 percent are Muslim, the result of a referral system that Republican Sen. Tom Cotton says “unintentionally discriminates” against Christians.”
‘unintentionally’? I wonder.
“A new poll by the Pew Research Center reveals significant levels of support for ISIS within the Muslim world. In 11 representative nation-states, up to 14 percent of the population has a favorable opinion of ISIS, and upwards of 62 percent “don’t know” whether or not they have a favorable opinion of the Islamist group.”
Astounding that anyone could support ISIS but, while not yet in the majority in most countries, ISIS enjoys significant support despite being the most evil entity on the face of the earth. Testament to how many lost souls on earth. Wow, don’t travel to Pakistan!
“New ADL report reveals universities hosting ever more BDS events, and are even sponsoring many of them.”
