Inner Ring (Countries or terror groups that border Israel)
“Statistics show a slight decrease in attacks in the month of December, with 2015 having the highest number of Israeli deaths since 2006.”
For whatever reason, even Israeli media is afraid to say in the headline that these are Palestinian attacks against Israeli civilians. There is no justification whatsoever for these attacks pure and simple. May the Lord bless and protect Israel. There I said it, is this hate speech?
“Following yesterday’s bombing attempt against IDF soldiers near Har Dov, Russia asks Hezbollah to calm tensions.”
Shows how much Russia fears Israel. Those Ezekiel 38 folks are going to have too wait.
“Troops in flashpoint West Bank sites to receive new protective device in the coming weeks.”
“Despite the atmosphere of incitement and accusations against Israel by the PA, several Palestinian intellectuals and journalist, including Hafez Al-Barghouti, the former editor of the PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida and a Fatah Revolutionary Council member, have criticized the attacks, and especially those carried out by children. They expressed outrage at the participation of teenagers, including very young ones, in stabbing attacks against Israelis, claiming that it was not the place of children, and that their childhood and lives must be protected. They accused the leadership of Palestinian organizations of “trading in the blood of children” and sending them to die by encouraging them to carry out such attacks and praising and glorifying those who do. Some intellectuals called to instill in the public and the youth values of life, study and work, rather than values of seeking death.”
It is good some Palestinians are speaking out but it is also clear they are very much the minority.
“Opinion polls show that the overwhelming majority of Palestinians support an armed campaign against Israel, and want to see Israel destroyed and a State of Palestine built on its ruins. The polls also show a troubling increase in popular support in the West Bank for Hamas, and a decrease in support for Mahmoud Abbas.”
“Knesset Speaker blasts UN for continued bias against Israel, 40 years after passing a resolution claiming that Zionism is racism.”
Funding of the UN should be stopped immediately because it has become a corrupt anti-Semitic institution.
Outer Ring (countries or terror groups that are close to but not bordering Israel)
“US-led coalition announces ISIS lost 40% of its control in Iraq, 20% in Syria, in higher estimate than IHS Jane’s 14% figure.”
It is difficult to trust what the US coalition says but lets hope there is some truth to it.
“Commentary on the fiery escalation between Iran and Saudi Arabia is accurately focusing on the never-ending Sunni-Shiite competition but an important component is missing: The Iranian regime believes an uprising in Saudi Arabia is the next sequence in End Times prophecy; an observation that enabled the Clarion Project to project about one year ago that Iran’s next step would be looking for an opportunity to stir up the Shiite minority within its Wahhabist rival.”
“Turning his attention to the Sinai Peninsula, Kedar noted how the region has been turned into a jihadist hotbed thanks largely to Hamas in Gaza, which has used its smuggling tunnels to bring a strong influence into the area.”
“Egypt intensifies ground and air campaign to root out extremists affiliated with the Islamic State group.”
“Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have so many missiles they don’t know where to hide them, a senior commander said at Friday prayers, after the United States threatened to impose fresh sanctions.”
“There is no firm indication that Iran’s factionalized leadership has agreed how far it should go to avenge the death of Nimr — who was one of 47 people executed by Saudi Arabia on Saturday — and what methods should be used. But whatever steps are authorized, the Guards are likely to be involved, although as orchestrators more than direct participants, experts say.”
“Q. We are told that at the rapture Jesus will descend with a shout and a trumpet, but most teachers say the world will be confused and wonder what has happened. They use the word “secret.” I can’t reconcile the two ideas. Does Scripture say the Rapture will be secret? Surely, the sudden disappearance of millions cannot be kept secret. If the Rapture will be secret, what about the shout and the trumpet? That should get everybody’s attention.
A. It’s the timing of the event that’s a secret. No one will know in advance exactly when it’s going to happen. After it does those remaining will obviously notice that millions are missing, but many won’t believe it was because of the Rapture.
There will be a number of “conspiracy theories” to explain it. Some will think that aliens took us to another dimension. Others will say that God removed all the fundamentalists because we were preventing the rest of the world from evolving spiritually. Still others who have heard the Gospel but were putting off their decision will realize it was the Rapture and will know they’ve missed it. Many of them will become believers because of this. But no matter what people believe, no one will be able to deny the fact that millions have disappeared.”
“Prophecy is supposed to motivate us to witness, and yet the reality of the judgments of souls in rebellion to God is omitted from the message of the Good News. How terrible that it’s omitted so often these days, when the days are coming that many will be living it!”
Amen, and the main reason Godshourglass exists today. Bible prophecy is neglected in many church teachings. This blog exists to motivate people to learn more about Bible Prophecy and the Gospel.
“Is this House Resolution a prelude? Has Attorney General Lynch seen the potential for someone lifting her “mantle of anti-Muslim rhetoric”? And what is “anti-Muslim rhetoric” exactly? Criticizing Islam? Debating Mohammed? Discussing whether ISIS is a true manifestation of Islam? Who decides the definition of “hate speech” against Muslims?
Of all 1,149 anti-religious hate crimes reported in the United States in 2014, only 16.1% were directed against Muslims, according to the FBI. By contrast, over half of all anti-religious hate crimes were directed against Jews – 56.8%.
Why this lopsided, discriminatory House Resolution in favor of a religious group that statistically needs it the least?
Are the Attorney General and the eighty-two House Democrats out to destroy the First Amendment and introduce censorship? A House Resolution could be reintroduced later as binding legislation.”
This is the trend of the World. Things have flipped. What was once considered evil is now considered good. What was once considered good is now considered evil. Satan is winning the hearts and minds of unbelievers so now morality is twisted. The day will come when this blog (and other like it) will likely come under attack for “hate speech”, when in fact we are just pointing out what is wrong and that Jesus Christ is right.
