Inner Ring (Countries or terror groups that border Israel)
“US military sources reported Friday that Israel had recently conducted mock air strikes over Baalbek, the site of Hizballah’s command centers, training facilities and arms depots in the eastern Lebanese Bekaa Valley. The sources reckoned that, “The Israelis want to see what sort of air-defense systems [Hizballah maintains around its stronghold]” after the IDF “changed its operational assessment to reflect the likelihood that Hizbah was in possession of advanced surface-to-air missile systems and had the ability to target Israeli fighter jets.” Asked to comment on this report, Hizballah officials declined, saying their weapons systems would be revealed when war breaks out.”
“Propaganda film encourages West Bank security forces to rise up against Israel, following example of officer who was killed shooting soldiers.”
“An Israeli couple was injured in a tear gas attack at the Shiloah river. A Palestinian sprayed the couple with tear gas before stealing their bag with their belongings. Security forces are conducting a search for the suspect.”
“In Friday sermon at Al-Aqsa Mosque, PA Grand Mufti claims Israel executes Palestinian Arabs.”
“As we leave the municipality building, we see, finally, a poster bearing the images of the three “shahids” from the January 7 attempted terror attack at the Etzion Junction. The poster, which bears Fatah’s logo, reads: “The three martyrs from the heroic Etzion attack.” And here, in one place at one moment, we could feel how equivocal and confusing is the message to Sa’ir’s youth: On the one hand, the municipality is taking a leading role in working against the terror attacks, while on the other, it is here, of all places, that we see a poster extolling the attackers and their deeds.”
Such an odd state of mind the Palestinians. If they would cease terror attacks their economy would improve, the check points would no longer be necessary. But see they take great pride in the terror attacks. They claim they want peace with the Israelis but then their actions say other wise to the Israelis. It’s all up to the Palestinians. If they reject violence their lives will improve. What is it that prevents them from rejecting violence? What is it that glorifies the violence? The Palestinian heart. This whole conflict is fueled by what is evil in the Palestinian heart.
“The accompanying video was filmed on the Temple Mount Sunday by Tom Nisani, an activist for Jewish rights on the Temple Mount. In it, Nisani and another activist simply ask to drink water at the water faucets on the Temple Mount but are prevented by a senior police officer from doing so.
Muslims justify their objection to Jews’ drinking on the Mount by claiming that they then utter a blessing – and are therefore violating the “status quo” on the Mount, which forbids Jewish prayer.
This incident demonstrates the absurd degree to which Israel has capitulated to demands by the Muslim Waqf to limit Jewish rights on the Mount, which is the most sacred site in Judaism, and the location of the First and Second Jewish Temples.”
It is astonishing how far Israelis have appeased Muslims on the Temple Mount. This has only led to more bold demands from Muslims and more restrictions are placed on Jews.
“The Israel Air Force fired air defense missiles into the skies over Israel on Monday as part of a pre-planned war drill simulating a missile attack.”
“Like most local Arab Muslims, Alaa Waheeb was brought up to believe the Jews living around him were his implacable foes, a blood-thirsty enemy that desired nothing but ruin for his own people. “I was raised to believe the worst things about Jews, and, had I not eventually met and worked alongside them, I might still believe those things today,” Waheeb wrote in an op-ed for the UK’s Jewish News. Fortunately, Major Waheeb did get the chance to dispel those myths, and today proudly serves as the highest ranking Muslim in the Israel Defense Forces. He was in the UK last week to speak to students on local campuses during the annual hate-fest known as Israel Apartheid Week. Maj. Waheeb noted that during his campus lectures, he was joined by a fellow IDF soldier, a Jewish “medic who has treated both Israeli soldiers and Palestinian terrorists without distinction.” The two were billed as “the Muslim who protects Jewish lives, and the Jew who saves Muslim lives.” Very astutely, Waheeb insisted that “there’s only one country in the Middle East that could produce a couple like that – and it sure as hell isn’t an apartheid state.”
Outer Ring (countries or terror groups that are close to but not bordering Israel)
“Moscow is planning to send its only heavy aircraft-carrying cruiser “Admiral Kuznetsov” to the Mediterranean sea in the summer to lead a permanent naval group, said a high-ranking source in the main command of the Russian Navy. It will be upgraded for new types of aircraft and munitions, including the new MiG-29K and “other planes.” DEBKAfile: The Kuznetzov can carry forty SU-33, Mig-29 and SU-25UT fighter jets and 24 helicopters.”
I think Moscow is planning for the worst in case Turkey and Saudi Arabia invade Syria. Remember, gulf states are currently involved in war exercise ‘North Thunder’ in northern Saudi Arabia. Probably a bluff by them but Moscow isn’t taking any chances. It’s a game of chicken right now between Saudi Arabia and Russia.
“Saudi Arabia is playing a high-stakes game in Lebanon, seeking to punish and weaken Hezbollah and Iran.”
“Despite all that, Karim and Racha are not hopeless. “We are not an exception. Many people are asking questions, and there isn’t one family in Dahiyeh that isn’t divided over Hezbollah’s role in Lebanon and the region. We will force Hezbollah to change. No one else can.”
“A 16-year-old boy was beheaded by the notorious fundamentalist organization Islamic State for not attending mandatory Friday prayer services in the border town of Jarabulus, Syria, the Kurdish News Agency reported Sunday.”
Just a reminder of how evil ISIS is and really brings into question the teachings of Islam.
