Inner Ring (Countries or terror groups that border Israel)
“The excavation of a 2,000-yearold Jewish settlement and synagogue from the Second Temple period in Magdala, located on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee, recently revealed rare and well-preserved antiquities, including a bronze incense shovel and jug.”
Interesting, also have you ever heard of 2,000-year old Palestinian archeological finds??
“Palestinian Authority police on Saturday arrested the local head of the Syrian Orthodox Church as he visited Bethlehem. Palestinian security sources and eyewitnesses told the Bethlehem-based Ma’an news agency that Archbishop Sewerios Malki Murad (pictured) was taken into custody during a parade near the Church of the Nativity. He was reportedly returning from a celebration of Syrian Orthodox heritage when police blocked the archbishop’s entourage and arrested him. A Palestinian police spokesperson said very vaguely that Murad faced “civil charges.” Syrian Orthodox Christians are said to have appealed to Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas to release Murad, and have threatened to “leave Palestine [sic]” is such harassment of Christians continues.”
The Obama administration should withhold aide money until he is released but they won’t.
“Three out of 13 displays put together for the exhibition were disqualified by the UN including one about Jerusalem, another about Israeli Arabs and a third about Zionism.”
The Obama administration should withhold aide money to the UN until all displays are allowed in the exhibition but they won’t.
“Israel this week temporarily suspended the delivery of cement to Gaza’s private sector after it discovered that Hamas was siphoning the material, which is intended to rebuild destroyed houses.”
Outer Ring (countries or terror groups that are close to but not bordering Israel)
“WASHINGTON (AP) — The Obama administration is making the case that Iran is drawing down its elite fighting force from Syria in an effort to allay fears that Tehran is using its powerful Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Syria to strengthen its influence across the Middle East. Yet the Iranian government said Monday it has dispatched commandos to the war and it is still taking high-ranking casualties.”
Over the years I have come to disregard what the Obama administration says about anything.
“Brigadier General Ali Arasteh, the deputy for coordination in the Iranian Army’s Ground Forces, told Tasnim news agency on Monday that the Iranian commandos, from Brigade 65 of the Forces, had took on a mission of advising Syrian forces.”
The fact that many are being killed means they are doing more then advising. The US has played this game for years.
“Report reveals mounting death toll for Tehran as it continues to back Assad regime; Hezbollah confirms deaths of 2 senior commanders.”
“TEL AVIV – Iran’s involvement in the conflicts in Syria and Iraq is meant not only to ensure the survival of Bashar al-Assad’s regime and weaken anti-Shi’ite militants in the region, but to ensure that Iranian weapons smuggling to Syria and Lebanon continues unhindered, according to the analysis of a senior Arab intelligence official speaking to Breitbart Jerusalem.”
“Washington (AFP) – The US military is considering pulling troops from a base in the northeastern part of Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, partly because of the increasing threat from Islamic State group jihadists, CNN reported.”
One thing the US has gotten good at under Obama is the art of projecting weakness. A strong US would reinforce not remove troops.
“Vic Batista: Nathan and I are going to unravel the incredible book of Revelation, but all from the point of view of God’s mighty angels. The angels in Revelation are very active declaring God’s judgments and helping facilitate His will throughout the book, and we’ll concentrate on what God achieves through them.”
Not as good as part I but still very much worthy of your time.
“Q. Thank you for your willingness to teach all of us through your articles and by answering questions that arise as we study the Bible.
My son is a recent convert and has presented me with many questions while studying the Bible. A recent one concerns various passages he has read that can be interpreted to mean that Elijah could come to prepare the way for the second coming of our Lord. He is reading the New Testament as well as Revelations. Is there anyway that you can shed light on his question? He is certain that another will come to ready the world for the rapture.
I am confused as to who Elijah really is. I know Elijah was a prophet in the Old Testament and also that John the Baptist was said to be Elijah. Does the word Elijah have a different meanings throughout the Bible?
A. Elijah was an Old Testament Prophet with an unfinished role. In the last verses of the Old Testament (Malachi 4:5-6), the Lord promised to send Elijah back to warn the people of Earth before the great and dreadful days of judgment at the End of the Age.
Even though John the Baptist said he wasn’t Elijah (John 1:21), Jesus said that if they’d been willing to accept John as such, he would have been. (Matt. 11:14)
Many, myself included, believe Elijah will be one of the two witnesses of Revelation 11, fulfilling God’s promise of Malachi 4:5-6.
All that said, there is no advance warning of the Rapture. No one know exactly when it will happen and there’ll be no prior announcement by either men or angels.”
“The war that Israel keeps losing is the war of world opinion, the war for individual hearts and minds, and a war that is also being lost among normally staunch supporters of Israel – the evangelical Christian community. There is a movement among the Christian community that is eroding support for Israel led by men like Brian McLaren, author of the book, “A New Kind of Christian”, Stephen Sizer, a pastor who has gained popularity by condemning Christian Zionism, and Former President Jimmy Carter, who accuses Israel of committing a holocaust against the Palestinians.”
I think part of the reason Israel is unable to gain any traction in the propaganda war is because the Arabs are good at only one thing and that is spreading lies in their propaganda. The reason why they are successful is because belief and fear of God in the world is waning. IF you truly believed in and feared God then you would be aware of the curse upon you if you cursed Israel. In Genesis 12:2-4 speaking to Abram God says:
“2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you
And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
People of the world, even some Evangelical Christians, are eager to believe the lies of the Arabs because in their own heart they think they are right and God is wrong.
“The United Nations has progressively become dominated by Islamic nations and tyrannies and increasingly sanctifies evil. Just last week, on March 24 in Geneva, the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) concluded its session by passing five resolutions condemning Israel. This followed a series of blood libels accusing the only democratic country in a region surrounded by barbarism of engaging in a policy of deliberate murder of Palestinian children.”
“The Soros-globalist agenda here is simple and fairly transparent. In essence, Soros and various European governments are tired of pastors from the Georgian Orthodox Church warning their flocks about the dangers of surrendering their sovereignty and right to self-government to the increasingly radical EU super-state. And so, they are using Soros money and taxpayer funds to “train” the pastors in how to love the EU and promote it to their trusting congregations.”
