Inner Ring (Countries or terror groups that border Israel)
“Police arrest Arab hurlers of Molotov cocktails at homes in Ma’ale ha-Zeitim neighborhood; residents of Ma’ale ha-Zeitim complain that similar incidents happen almost daily, but thank police for their efforts to undermine assailants.”
“The IDF announced Monday that it had discovered an over two-kilometer-long, concrete reinforced tunnel that had been dug from Khan Yunis into an Israeli community adjacent to southern Gaza, and that IDF bulldozers entered Gaza and destroyed the tunnel over the weekend. Foreign sources reported that the approximately 30-meter-deep passage was discovered near Kibbutz Sufa using new IDF technology capable of locating empty spaces in the ground.
The tunnel with multiple branches had electrical and ventilation systems as well as tracks for transporting diggers and materials. It appeared to be wide enough to enable Hamas fighters to infiltrate into Israel and return with Israeli prisoners.
According to findings by the IDF Southern Command, Hamas is investing a large amount of resources to boost its operational abilities, with nearly 1,000 diggers, technical staff and others in its “tunnel command”.”
“The IDF detected a deep Hamas cross-border tunnel in recent days, stretching from the southern Gaza Strip into Israel. The discovery of the tunnel was kept under a media ban until Monday morning. The tunnel is 30 meters deep, and was likely dug after the 2014 Operation Protective Edge, according to IDF assessments, though this has not been fully verified. A senior security source said a “systematic, intelligence-based, technological, engineering, and operational” approach resulted in the finding of the tunnel. “We have to turn this event, of finding a tunnel, into a technique, and find more tunnels,” he added.”
Interesting, this find just after the defection of Sami Atauna last week. Great one was found but how many have gone undetected?
“Planes, vehicles and troops set to maneuver in Golan Heights, Jordan Valley in general preparedness exercise.”
“Islamists who harass Jews on Temple Mount paid by terror groups to break the law to prevent more Jewish visitors.”
“ISA claims that removing the IDF from Arab cities in Judea and Samaria could made it more difficult to prevent terror attacks.”
“UNESCO, the United Nations body responsible for protecting historical and archeological sites throughout the world, has changed its language for the Temple Mount, acquiescing last week to a request by the Palestinian Authority that it refer to the site using the term “Al-Aqsa mosque” only.
This means that the organization has de facto accepted the Palestinian position that denies any connection between Mount Moriah (the Temple Mount) and the Jewish Temples and rejected Israel’s position that the Temple Mount is the holiest site for the Jewish people.”
This decision, and many other like it, shows the antisemitic nature of the UN. Funding of such an agency should be halted immediately. Any organization that perpetuates lies and hatred must be stopped.
So why did the Palestinians object to the cameras? Was it because they did not want to be caught harassing non-muslims? Just as well, they would have been used against the Israelis anyway.
Outer Ring (countries or terror groups that are close to but not bordering Israel)
“Iraq has received three additional Sukhoi Su-25 ‘Frogfoot’ ground-attack aircraft from Russia, the country’s Ministry of Defence (MoD) announced on 17 April. The three aircraft were delivered to the Iraqi Air Force (IqAF) on the same day as the announcement, along with other unspecified military equipment from various global sources.”
“Iran has showed off parts of its S-300 air defense missile system at an Army Day parade on Apr. 17. President Hassan Rouhani was the guest-of-honor.”
“Q. I frequently hear post-trib believers say that 1 Thes. 5:9 doesn’t promise believers escape from the end times judgments but from eternal punishment in Hell. Can this be true?
A. 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 says:
For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
In order to support this position post-trib believers have to ignore the context of1 Thes. 5:1-9 which is the end times judgments Paul called the Day of the Lord. From 1 Thes. 5:1 it appears that the Thessalonian believers had asked Paul if he knew the timing of these judgments. He wouldn’t have answered the way he did if they’d asked him about the eternal punishment of unbelievers, which will officially begin at the end of the Millennium, 1,000 years after the 2nd Coming.”
“Has America reached a dangerous point where the Lord will no longer hear any intercessory prayers on its behalf? This happened to the Southern Kingdom of Judah and led to its destruction around 586 BC! The Lord told the prophet Jeremiah three times in Jeremiah 7:16, 11:14 and 14:11 to no longer pray for Judah and Jerusalem. It was too late! The Jews would not repent!
“False moral equivalence is one of a series of major fallacies. False moral equivalence comparing Israel’s actions to those of the Nazis was used by several prominent social-democratic politicians, including French President François Mitterrand, Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme and Greek Prime Minister Andreas Papandreou.”
“Firm figures are elusive, but estimates are that the Saudis fund up to 80% of American mosques, at least in part. And their goal is the same here as it is elsewhere in the world where Islam must compete with other religions: to prevent Muslims from integrating into the host society.”
