Inner Ring (Countries or terror groups that border Israel)
“Video has been released of an IDF jeep being attacked in Hevron. Arutz Sheva reports that despite the firebomb attack by Palestinian terrorists, no soldiers were injured:
Arabs on Sunday threw firebombs at an IDF jeep that was traveling in Dura, near Hevron, during an operation to collect illegal weapons. A video obtained by Arutz Sheva shows the soldiers in the military jeep, when suddenly firebombs are hurled at them, mainly hitting the front of the armored vehicle. No soldiers were hurt in the incident.”
“Scuba gear thought planned for sea-borne attack hidden in shipment of sporting goods sent by Palestinian Authority to Gaza Strip.”
“PA fabricates call by Israeli rabbi allegedly calling on ‘settlers’ to poison Arab water – then uses it to call for international sanctions.”
“Homefront Command, Gaza Division decide to expand sirens to tunnel attacks. Residents will receive texts explaining danger.”
“FORT WORTH, TEXAS – Israel will install its own cyber defenses on the F-35 jets it will receive this year, the air force’s Chief of Staff, Brig.-Gen. Tal Kelman, said on Tuesday.”
“Gaza leaders blast Israeli plan to build underground wall around the Strip to block terror tunnels, cite ‘environmental concerns’.”
This means the wall is a good idea.
Outer Ring (countries or terror groups that are close to but not bordering Israel)
“Jordan declares desert border regions with Syria and Iraq “military zones” following deadly suicide attack.”
“ARSAL, Lebanon (AP) — In a remote corner of Lebanon near the border with Syria, Lebanese troops have been quietly making steady progress, fighting against Islamic extremists holed up in the rugged mountains.”
“Reporting little resistance from Islamic State fighters, counterterrorism forces raised the Iraqi flag over the main government building in central Falluja, officers and state television reports said.”
“Iranian sources report that Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, commander of IRGC Qods Force, has rushed to Syria to oversee the fighting for Aleppo after his success in the battle for Fallujah in Iraq.”
“ISIS jihadists drive Syrian regime troops out of its self-proclaimed capital, killing dozens of fighters.”
“Iran and Hizbullah are not happy about Russia’s stepped-up efforts to resolve the Syrian crisis. Despite the cooperation between Iran and Russia, which apparently is piloted by Qasem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, they disagree more and more on Syria’s future once the crisis comes to an end. This dispute also bedevils the Syrian regime (and Hizbullah), which finds itself between the Russian hammer and the Iranian anvil especially as the clashes escalate among the various forces and militias operating in different regions of Syria.”
“Q. Do you think that Isaiah 17 will be fulfilled at the same time as the Battle of Ezekiel 38-39?
Isaiah 17:4 says that the glory of Jacob (Israel) will fade and his fat will waste away so it seems like Israel will become weak. But in verse 7, it says that they will turn back to God, matching with Ezekiel 38-39.
What do you make of this prophecy?
A. Much of Isaiah 17 has a double fulfillment, the first being when the Assyrians conquered the northern Kingdom and the 2nd being in our future. The outcome you describe could be accurate in the general sense since Israel will have to become weak enough to accept the terms of a false peace before the Ezekiel 38 battle and then will turn to God after it. This weakness could come as a result of a war with Syria, aided by Hizballah and Hamas.”
“With its so-called “peacekeeping” military troops facing outrage worldwide for raping and exploiting children with impunity, the United Nations is launching a major push to expand and further empower its UN “police” force known as UNPOL. At the same time, the controversial global organization is working to usurp more influence over national police forces, with the UN bringing together more than 100 national police chiefs this month at its first-ever UN “Chiefs of Police Summit” (UN COPS). The scheming comes less than two years after UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon called on local police forces in the United States to comply with what he cryptically referred to as “international standards.”
“The same hatred as from Nazis is coming from Islamists and their politically correct allies. We do not even have a vague idea of how much Western culture we have surrendered to Islam.”
“To conclude, antisemitism and Anti-Zionism are basically “the same idea with a different cloak”. Their common motivation is hatred to Jews and their common goal is to deprive them from the rights entitled to other peoples or human beings. The arguments and methods used by both of them (BDS, intimidation and violence) are very similar too. Yet the discourse used by Anti-Zionism is different and is based on Anti-nationalism, Anti-colonialism and human rights arguments: the tools it uses are more updated and sophisticated (international institutions, NGO’s, BDS, social media etc.) and it relies on new supporters. Whereas in the past antisemitism was coming mainly from the extreme right, Anti-Zionism is promoted mainly by the ultra-radical left and by radical liberal groups, and enjoys the support of ultra-radical and radical liberal Jews as well, who were opposed to antisemitism. There is a difference also in the nature of the opposition to these attitudes. The opposition to Anti-Zionism is led by the Jewish people and supported by many Western leaders and grass roots, who are much more able and self-confident in fighting it, thanks to a large extent to the existence of Israel, the nation state of the Jewish people, and to the lessons learned from the limited resistance in the past to antisemitism and the disasters it brought upon the Jews and upon the entire humankind.”
“The Orlando killer described himself as an “Islamic soldier” out to avenge the US war on the Islamic State, according to excerpts from his phone conversations with police during the 12 June massacre. To show progress in its investigation, the FBI on Monday released a timeline and partial transcript of Omar Mateen’s 911 calls from the Pulse nightclub. It withheld both the full transcript and the audio of the call itself, as investigators are said to be looking with skepticism at Mateen’s claim of allegiance to Isis.
The speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, contested this decision, accusing the FBI of “selective editing” to downplay Mateen’s pledge to Isis. “The administration should release the full, unredacted transcript so the public is clear-eyed about who did this, and why.” In the excerpts, whose contents took place during the killing spree, Mateen pledges fealty to an unnamed group widely understood to be Isis. The US war on Isis in Iraq and Syria motivated him to be “out here right now”, he says.”
Just so sad to see the US government again whitewash and cover-up what was clearly an Islamic terrorist attack.
“WASHINGTON – Frustrated over a stall in an arms sale to Saudi Arabia, Obama once questioned the necessity of maintaining Israel’s qualitative military edge in the region, former defense secretary Leon Panetta said this month.”
Really shows the ignorance the US President has when it comes to Israel and the Middle East.
