Inner Ring (Countries or terror groups that border Israel)
“Overnight, armed with an order from Central Command, the IDF, Israel Police, and members of Shabak coordinated to shut down a radio station broadcasting incitement against Israel. The radio station, called “Alsanabel,” was based out of Dora, a city just southwest of Hevron.
Alsanabel is known for broadcasting incitement to kill Israelis. Its broadcasts supported violent attacks on Israelis, praised terrorists for their acts, and encouraged protest against Israel in all forms, violent and non-violent.”
“Hours after the IDF demolished the home of a terrorist in Dura, a UN organization tweeted an alert warning about the operation. The UN organization called the IDF operation in Dura a “punitive demolition.”
The UN displays their pro-terrorist sympathies when they condemn terrorist home demolition but do not condemn the terrorist act that led to the Israeli response. The UN constantly side with terrorists against Israel, why? Rabbi Michael Mark was murdered by Palestinians while driving his family in a car. Only by God’s grace did the rest of the family survive.
“Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, said with regards to UNIFIL’s mandate renewal: “Hezbollah continues to arm itself and build terror infrastructure in southern Lebanon, turning the local villages into terror strongholds. Public facilities, such as hospitals, schools and mosques were converted into terror outposts and weapon storage facilities.”
In other words the UN has failed to implement Resolution 1701. Not that they really tried that hard from the beginning. This was one of the conditions that ended the 2006 Lebanon War. Since it has never been properly implemented or enforced Israel would be well within her rights to resume hostilities.
“Jerusalem (AFP) – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office on Tuesday called criticism of Israeli settlement building “absurd” after a UN envoy strongly hit out at his government over the issue.
“The claim that it is illegal for Jews to build in Jerusalem is as absurd as saying Americans can’t build in Washington or the French can’t build in Paris,” Netanyahu spokesman David Keyes said in a statement.”
The world thinks that Israel has no right to build homes in their own land. In particular, no right in Jerusalem. Just because the Palestinians dispute Israeli sovereignty does not make it true. God gave the land to Israel not the Palestinians. Their land is in Jordan. They are Jordanians.
“The former Mossad director claimed that the internal threats need to worry Israel more than the external threats. During a press conference, he said that he believes that Israel is most likely headed in the direction of a civil war.”
Former Mossad directors have way too much influence in Israeli media. I really don’t see a threat of civil war in Israeli society. There is some division just like every society but not to the point of organized violence like you see in many Arab countries. One thing that is concerning is the leftward leaning politically minded military and intelligence leadership growing in Israel. The Left in Israel do not acknowledge a threat from Iran. Their blindness will lead to many Israeli lives lost in a conflict with Iran which at some point will come to a head.
Outer Ring (countries or terror groups that are close to but not bordering Israel)
“Islamic State’s main spokesman Abu Muhammad al-Adnani was killed Tuesday by a missile fired by a US military drone, a senior American official was quoted as saying. The missile was said to have hit the vehicle in which al-Adnani was traveling in the city of Al-Bab near Aleppo in northern Syria. The spokesman, who was considered likely to succeed the head of the terrorist organization, was responsible for Islamic State’s overseas activities including its attacks in Europe. ISIS has threatened large-scale revenge attacks against the West in the aftermath of the senior terrorist’s death.”
“BEIJING – Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister said on Wednesday the Iranian-allied Houthi movement would not be allowed to take over Yemen, as he accused Iran of seeking to sow unrest around the region.”
The Iranians started arming the Houthis as a response to the Saudi’s arming the Syrian rebels.
