Iron Mixed with Clay
“Channel 2 News pundit Roni Daniel believes that Yahya Sinwar will increase the tensions between Israel and Gaza by increasing Hamas’ terror activity. Daniel says that the terrorist who served time in an Israeli prison has always voiced his support for the kidnapping of IDF soldiers.”
Anything can happen but deterrence is working pretty well so far. Anyone can miscalculate though.
“Hezbollah-friendly Michel Aoun said Hezbollah’s weapons are necessary to defend Lebanon against Israel.”
“A senior Hamas military delegation visited Cairo in an attempt to reach security understandings and open the Rafah border crossing.”
Hamas would have to trade ISIS relations for Egyptian relations. Hamas cannot have both. I don’t see much change happening here.
“Minister Steinitz says that talk between PM and Trump will focus on Iran, and that the PM won’t retract support for a Palestinian state.”
If there is one area where Trump can have an impact in the Middle East it is Iran. Obama did enormous damage by enabling Iran. Mitigating the damage will be top priority. Sad to see “two state solution” talk from Trump. Regarding the Palestinians I don’t see much change in policy.
“Q. I enjoy your website very much. So filled with valuable information. Thanks so much.
Just briefly, are the boundaries of the land of Israel today the same as they were in the Old Testament? My husband said he doesn’t think the boundaries from the OT could be definitely defined by today’s standards. (In other words, they could give some of what they have to Palestine without upsetting things.)
Thanks for any insight into this you might have!
A. The Old Testament boundaries for the Promised Land are given in Genesis 15:18, Deut. 1:6-8 and other places. By comparing them you can readily see that it extended from the River Euphrates in the north to the Wadi al Arish (River of Egypt) in the south, and from the Jordan River in the East to the Mediterranean in the West. All these boundaries are easily found on any good map today. This area is much larger than Israel’s current boundaries and so they don’t have any to spare without violating the Biblical mandate against selling or giving away their land.”
Unbelievers do not understand this. Israel is already much smaller then what God intended her to be. There is only a way state solution at this point and it is Israel. The world has already divided up Israel and given her land to Arabs. But that is enough. The worlds seeks to give even more land to Arabs. Israeli people give up the land too easily. They will not get peace, land for peace is a lie. Arabs will never be satisfied no matter how much land is given too them. Arabs seek a one state solution of their own. An Arab state, only where no Jew lives on the land. So you see no amount of pounding Israel into submission will help.
“Billionaire Elon Musk is known for his futuristic ideas and his latest suggestion might just save us from being irrelevant as artificial intelligence (AI) grows more prominent. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO said on Monday that humans need to merge with machines to become a sort of cyborg.”
Could this be the ‘iron mixed with clay’ spoken of by the prophet Daniel?
“And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others. Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.” Daniel 2:40-43
