Articles of the Day 5/5/14: Beware Of ‘Chrislam’

What Does The Bible Say? Israel And The Church

“Someone wrote to ask my opinion about several theories he has read concerning the relationship between the Church and Israel. He asked, “Are the two really the same or are they supposed to be different?” Here’s my response. The misguided effort to blend the Church and Israel into one entity continues. First it was “Replacement Theology”, the false teaching that because of their rejection of Jesus as their Messiah, God has no more use for Israel. Instead He has transferred to the Church all of the promises He had formerly made to them. According to this view, the rebirth of Israel in 1948 was nothing more than an accident of history, not the fulfillment of prophecy. They say the only future for Israel is through the Church.”

Egypt Rebuilding Alliance with Saudi Arabia – New

“The first link reports that, for the first time ever, the nation of Egypt is sending military forces to participate in scheduled military exercises by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) headed by Saudi Arabia. This may seem like a simple announcement, but it reveals more than what is stated in that simple announcement. The GCC military exercises, hosted this year by Bahrain and attended also by the USA, the UK and Jordan, also include participation by Pakistan and Turkey. What is noteworthy is that only Sunni Islamic nations will be participating in these exercises. The Shiite-led or dominated nations such a Iran, Iraq, Syria and Azerbaijan are not invited. The GCC is the Saudi-led Sunni Islamic alliance whose primary current purpose is to defend against the threat from Iran.”

So called “Christian Leaders endorsing Chrislam”

“A number of Christian leaders today are attempting to bridge the gap between Muslims and Christians. While perhaps well intentioned, the foundation of this new mantra, often called Chrislam is that “we all worship the same God”. At the heart of this movement and perhaps the most dangerous issue is that these Christian leaders suggest that because we use similar terms such as “God” and “Jesus” – there is a form of shared belief. What we mean by the words we use matters and when no one defines the terms we are using – deception can slip in (which is why lawyers will fill page after page of small print defining the terms in a contract). Whether intentional or not, many Christian leaders are leading their followers into believing Chrislam is acceptable.”

This trend is very disturbing because Islam and Christianity are really polar opposites. How any learned person of Christ can believe in this ‘Chrislam’ is very troubling . People that support and teach this are corrupting Christianity. Allah is not the same God as the real God. Keep in mind the strong delusion that will be sent by God in the end times (which is now):

5 Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? 6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. (2 Thessalonians 2:11)

‘Iran’s Front Lines are in Southern Lebanon’

“Iran is in the midst of a large-scale military buildup and attempting to expand its influence in the Middle East, as is evident in its active intervention in sectarian conflicts in Syria, Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait, Yemen and Gaza.”

Video: Psalm 83 or Ezekiel 38; What’s Next?

“The news headlines above clearly point out that Israel is not currently dwelling securely. The tiny Jewish state is protecting its northern, eastern and southern borders with security fences. Israel’s western border is protected by the Mediterranean Sea. Someday, when Israel dwells securely the prophecies described in Ezekiel 38 and 39 will occur. Interestingly, the security fences that Israel has constructed have nothing to do with Ezekiel 38, but everything to do with Psalm 83. In fact, none of the Ezekiel 38 invaders share common borders with Israel. Ezekiel 38:8-13 mandates that Israel must be dwelling securely, without walls, bars, or gates, and in the center of the land, probably alluding to the Genesis 15:18 land mass. Additionally for Ezekiel 38 to find fulfillment, the Jewish state must be in receipt of great spoil. In my estimation, Israel today is not fulfilling these prerequisite conditions; at least not yet. Israel is unable to dwell securely as a result of their surrounding Psalm 83 hostile Arab neighbors. Walls, bars, and gates exist in Israel today in order to protect them from being terrorized by certain members of the Psalm 83 confederates, such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Palestinians in general.

Additionally, the goal of the Ezekiel 38 invaders is to destroy Israel and take their plunder and great spoils. Israel doesn’t presently appear to possess all of the great spoil that Russia and their coalition will someday covet. Some Bible prophecy teachers believe that Ezekiel 38 is about to find fulfillment, but the stage does not appear to be ready for this to occur. The image above compares it to America, Canada and Mexico attacking the tiny state of New Jersey. Something needs to happen to warrant Russia putting together such a vast coalition to attack Israel. What is it? You are invited to watch a teaching video by Bill Salus that explains the differences between Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38. In the end analysis, it appears as though Psalm 83, rather than Ezekiel 38, could be the next prophetic Mideast News Headline.”
